Our second stay at this fabulous place was even better than the first a year ago. Very warm welcome which continued throughout our two night stay. Room three is beautiful and very comfortable. We had dinner one night with family and all enjoyed every mouthful. Breakfasts are on another level. The yoghurt and fruit, full breakfast and avocado on toast were all meals I would readily eat again if that were possible. If we are back in the area again this would our first choice for certain.

We had a really lovely meal here. Great food (far to good!) nice drink, very friendly staff. Lovely building. Comfy seating There isn’t much parking near the pub, but plenty of parking a bit further down the road at the beach car parks. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly pub set in a beautiful location. The staff are super friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The food was excellent. You will need to book to eat there. Rooms clean with coffee, tea making facilities.

Roast beef lunch that had one positive element, which was the Yorkshire Pudding. However, the quality of the beef was abysmal, being primarily gristle that was bloody and surrounded by a ring of undercooked fat. The beef should have been binned and not cooked . . A dreadful quality that shouldn’t have been accepted by the kitchen. The meat sat atop the vegetables, a mixture of root vegetables and greens swamped with watery gravy. Altogether, an exceptionally uninspiring plate of food that left one hungry

Had lunch after a 7 mile walk on the coast path. Small plates of scallops, mussels, prawns, chowder. All absolutely first class. Ate in the sunny garden. Great service. Cannot recommend this too highly.

Food was awful, cauliflower was hard as rock, meat could not cut or chew. Massive yourshire pudding to cover the lack of a decent meal. Not real choice of dessert and served in a water glass. Ni children's menus on a Sunday. So expensive would NEVER EVER go again !!!

Booked in for Sunday roast yesterday, it was amazing. Service was first class, so polite, efficient and extremely quick. The food was delicious, hot, tasty and very well presented. The atmosphere in the pub was relaxed and very pleasant.
