100% for staff, rooms, food. Best sleep I've had for weeks. Even though I was by the road, double glazing stops the noise from traffic. Would recommend it to anyone. Nothing is too much for them. Definitely will return again, again and again. THANK YOU.XX

Lovely, large old inn full of character. Enjoyed a lovely meal with my husband. Food was excellent, as was the service. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. I understand they do an excellent breakfast menu too! Well worth a visit.

I notice that any poor reviews here relate to the food, not our experience, but this is also the place for reviewing it as a ‘hotel’, restaurant is a different entry. A quintessential English pub that looks as if it dates back centuries with its low beams in the. A lovely bar/restaurant. Our room was a good size, immaculately clean with clean bedclothes and towels. Equipped with TV, a/c, WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, bathroom toiletries etc. A very comfortable night. Breakfast was a good selection cooked to choice, full English, scrambled eggs with salmon on toast, eggs benedict etc. Cerals, juice, tea or coffee completed a great start to the day.

We went for lunch on the spur of the moment on a busy December day a week before Christmas, having not visited the Norway Inn for many, many years. It was a 5 star experience all round. Becky (front of house, on only her first week in the job) was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. She gave us a quiet table away from a large table of 20, ensured our food order went in before their mains, was bright and cheerful and attentive and a real credit to the pub. The pub was attractively and tastefully decorated for Christmas and is large enough and with enough different spaces that we were totally unaware of the big party. The food was great. We had pesto pappardelle, a really tasty macaroni cheese, & excellent garlic bread. We shall definitely visit again soon.

I came here with my 6 bridesmaids, the night before my wedding at a farm down the road, and we absolutely loved the place! We arrived unexpectedly late and the staff were really nice about it; we had the whole floor of rooms to ourselves. The staff were so accommodating at every stage, including allowing late check-out so I could arrive at my ceremony on-time. In the morning, we couldn't get a taxi due to another big event taking place nearby and were panicking a bit, so one of the staff offered to give us a lift to the ceremony in the pub car, even though it took her two trips!! The rooms are much bigger than they look in the pictures; there was plenty of space for us all to get ready in the same room. The beds are massive and super comfy. And breakfast was absolutely delicious, again with super friendly staff, who even helped me to print a bunch of wedding programmes which I'd forgotten to print the day before. All my bridesmaids couldn't stop commenting about how much they loved the place. Highly recommended to stay here, and a massive thank you to all the staff for making my wedding morning so fantastic!

The Norway has now become our favourite place to eat. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is great and the staff are absolutely lovely. Prices are very reasonable too. This last visit I had the best Eton Mess ever and I just have to share a pic!
