The Dune Eco Village and Spa - Pondicherry

The best place to celebrate special days of your life……. The staff are very polite and cater to all your requests without any issues…. The managers helped me throw a surprise birthday party for my wife…. Right from the cake to place everything was ensured to the best of its kind….They ensured that the day was made special and memorable….. Food is good…. Swimming pool is clean….. Rooms are clean and very hygiene….. Very spacious place to take an evening walk…. It’s right next to beach making it extra beautiful….. the beach was so good with no crowd and clean…..

Usually I don't write feedback but the service provided by Umapathy and team was excellent. The receptionist welcomed us as soon as we got down from the car. Umapathy and his team made sure we had a pleasant stay.The 40 acre resort is eco friendly and promotes organic food and healthy life style which is my kind. This is first resort I have been which promotes organic food so in am giving 5 star rating for this. For fitness freak they arrange yoga session during weekend which I personally liked. My 5 year old son thoroughly enjoyed his time in indoor swimming pool and bath tub provided in wooden cottage. Overall a very good service and special thanks to Umapathy who has been fabulous in his service

When you go back to visit a place again and again, it goes to prove the attraction the place and people there have. Dune, for our family, has been that getaway destination since 2011. Despite this being our sixth visit, the consistency of warmth in service, the philosophy of eco-friendliness and the unique homes continues to touch our hearts. The highlights of the physical space are the infinity pool, private beach access, the choices of homes with unique characters and aethetics and above all, the quiet, serene and calm energy that this space exudes. There are many green nooks and groves that are a treasure trove for those who love nature. The biodiversity of the space - flowers, plants, birds, butterflies, insects, reptiles all invite you to slow down and take the time to pause and say hello! As for the staff and hospitality, many faces are familiar and inviting for they have been there for a decade or two and give us a warm recognizing smile. Starting from the front desk, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance....we have had so many positive experiences. Front office and guest relations led by Mr. Umapathy go out of their way to make every request possible and has great recomendations/connections. The can do attitude of the kitchen/restaurant and their attentiveness were exemplary. The food is freshly prepared and farm to table, much of it from their own space and ingredients of the highest quality. One of us had some very specific nutrition requirements and the staff went out of their way to support our requests - Rajesh, Raj, Chef Kalidas and all the staff behind the scenes, thank you! The Chief Engineer of the property and his team swooped in and added steps to the house as we had senior citizens with us and found the steps too steep. The guard near the beach is a familiar friendly face and keeps an eye out for the safely of the guests near the pool and those visiting the beach - offered us a chair to borrow to accomodate the senior citizens. Housekeeping came in on time and at request, to take care of all our needs! We dont know all their names but we appreciate the efforts of all the staff behind the scenes that made this experience wonderful. Will just say that there are many many more ways in which the staff make your experience special, without giving it all away... Dune is incomplete without a friendly wagging tail, from Bogo the dalmatian in 2011 to Charlie the indie in 2024....they follow you if you show them a little love and keep you company during the visit. Charlie, had a little incident while we were here and we wish him a speedy recovery. If we could give it 10 stars we would, suffice to say we recommend this property for your next vacation wholeheartedly!

Loved my experience at Dune Eco Village. The entire place is so artfully set up, and each cottage has a distinct character. The cottages are in the midst of thick woods and farms, and a very short walk away from the beach. The perfect place for a quiet retreat. The service is prompt and friendly and the food - all organic - is very good. I highly recommend this place.

It’s one of the best resorts I have visited till date , as the name itself suggests it’s eco village situated in midst of nature and beach close by .. it takes you back to old days as the rooms are uniquely designed.. all staff are friendly and very co operative .. Mr Umapathy the manager here is very friendly and guides you accordingly

Had a great experience with family. Good ambiance and secured place for ladies and children .. beautiful place for sight seeing. Very hygienic place .. there is more activities to enjoy with children’s like pottery making , open chess and kids playing zone

Beginning with the booking process, Murugaian gave me a great deal in our accommodation, and arranged my candle light dinner very beautifully. Next comes the utmost pleasant item was the Dune Fun Restaurant- Raj was courteous in servicing the food, helpful suggestions from him made our stay happy also to add Rajesh was helping us with cocktails and dinner items was memorable. Finally Umapathy manager made his first impression with splendid introduction of the site and his final touch song. I thank him for his support for adjusting few timings for the activities during our stay. On the whole it was a very pleasant stay and we are planning to bring our parents to enjoy this wonderful stay because it is the place where we can forget our mobile phones as there are no WiFi in the rooms except the restaurant, no TV so we will indulge more in connecting with people.

One of the most amazing trip I ever had . It’s our favourite place we celebrate our bdays there . It’s incredibly awsome. Uma ji is a very helpful nice n gentle person we love to meet him again n again he has always made it special for us !!!! Highly recommend

All the staff of Dune were good in service. Dune is excellent place to visit. I will definitely recommend the same to my family and friends. I would like to tell about the back door which was opening in front of beach, it’s indeed cherry on top. Thank you for all the love you guys have showered us and made my birthday special.
