A true Tico adventure worth its weight in gold. Esteban is a real one, providing a level of care and experiences that are unmatched in this area. A beautiful hike along the Quebrada to the magnificent waterfalls is a memorable experience. It matches and exceeds a Nauyaca visit and provides you with a connection to the land and people of the Platanillo River valley. The waterfall pool is deep and refreshing with the ability to feel the power of the river. Ropes and barriers assist the hiker down the steep sections and provide access in and out of the pool. Pura Vida 🤙🏼🇨🇷. Do this tour before any other waterfalls in the area. The provided lunch was tasty and ready at the end of the hike! Mucho apreciado.

I booked a room on **********. I was in a regular passenger car. When we pulled off of the highway to get to place, there was a 2 mile muddy dirt road with multiple hills and steep descents to get there. I almost got stuck about a half mile away and decided that I would not be able to get out the next morning after an evening of rainfall. ********** and the hotel both denied my request for a full refund, the charged me 50%. I would not recommend this place due to the misleading advertising.

Excelente lugar para senderismo, hospedaje y comida muy complaciente, los senderos hermosos y las cataratas magníficas, puedes ver mucha flora y fauna. Recomendado al 100%,ambiente muy familiar, Esteban el dueño es una persona que te va a ayudar con todo lo que necesites!

Bueno hay que decir primero que la atención es muy buena, super atentos y amables. Ahora, este es uno de los lugares que están relativamente escondidos y que vale mucho la pena conocer. Camino entre San Isidro de Perez Zeledón y Dominical, especificamente en Platanillo de Barú. Aunque el camino de la carretera principal a las cabañas es lastreado entra automóvil sin problemas. Tal vez nada mas consultar como se pone en época de lluvia. Las Cabañas son ideales para todo aquel que quiera desconectarse de la tecnología y del estrés del mundo de asfalto. Los alrededores de noche llenos de naturaleza ideal para disfrutar de sonidos y vista de la Fila Brunqueña es super linda. Hay que decir que de noche el ambiente que rodea la cabaña parece que uno estuviera en contacto directo con la naturaleza excepto por el tema de mosquitos ja ja. Además la propiedad es ideal para caminatas de sendero relativamente para principiantes y con unas cataratas increíbles aptas para toda la familia. Igual hay partes profundas que es mejor revisar por alguna persona que sepa nadar. Un dato super importante ya que el precio de la cabaña, que es super accesible, incluye desayuno típico costarricense delicioso y con bastante cantidad.
