Services, location and amenities are good. However, cleanliness is not really good. My level has a bad smell and there was dead cockroach in my room. I also ordered room service during my stay. Staff in charge is polite. That was good. But, the food taste not really good. I like the coffee.

My stay here is pleasant. I am satisfied and in future I will choose this hotel again. What makes my stay joyful is that the room is clean, normally I will have an uncomfortable feeling staying in another hotel but here I can sleep soundly (normally I wont get enough sleep in other hotels) For breakfast here they offer freshly made omelette, halfcooked eggs. And all other choices are the same as the hotels breakfast menu. Thanks to all the staff for this satisfaction. And, the soap for the shower is sooooo fragrant.

Stayed at Grand Orient for one night for a business trip, and even though the hotel catered more for families with children (they have an in-house water park, though I did not try it out), I was generally satisfied with my stay. Room: Being relatively new certainly helped them in this regard, as the room's fittings were good and intact and the room itself felt fresh despite not having any windows. Bed and linen were comfortable, and the room was equipped with basic amenities. They provided an ironing board and iron which was a handy addition. Toilet was clean and modern. My only complaint - the toilet had a small tube (most probably for draining air-conditioning condensate water) sticking out of the ceiling directly on top the sink, which dripped water once in a while. Definitely something that needs to be improved on. Also, the room was quite small and felt slightly cramped. Location: Not very conducive, as there are hardly any shops within walking distance. The nearest convenience store would be a petrol station, about a 5-minute walk away. You would have to drive out for food and goods. Staff: Professional and welcoming. No complaints. Conclusion: Even though the Grand Orient had an in-house water park and was more family-oriented, the hotel premises was generally clean. It is probably not well suited for certain target groups, so do bear in mind what your priorities are before considering this place. All in all an ok place, though I may have scored it higher if it weren't for the odd water leak issue in the toilet.

Location was handy to train for early morning departure. Shower very good. Clean functional

It was a pleasant stay at citadines hotel. Friendly and helpful staff always ready to serve the guest. I wish to highlight the warong coffee at the lobby, it is fantastic! The room was clean and tidy. Strongly recommends this hotel to those travel to Penang with family members

We came from KL to perform in a dinner show, booked 5 rooms. The ambiance upon arriving was awesome with a nice open concept lobby with stunning view. Its a middle-east kind of design & concept. Staffs are mostly local malays with kind & respective behaviour. Rooms are standard with full facilities, as well as choice of breakfast. Overall we are overwhelmed with a one-nite stay in a real 5 star hotel over Kepala Batas.

Arrived @ 4pm and everything was smooth when check in. They provide free parking and the entrance behind the hotel building. Its a multistory carpark. Room was excellent and all was exceptable. We had an enjoyable stay here and will come again in future.

Breakfast buffet simple but nice. Room mattress and bed sheet a bit aged. But is clean and no smell. GYM ROOM is spacious and full of gym equipment. Love it.

After booking, it is very convenient to rent this hotel because it is very convenient for food. The businessmen who go up to Beijing once a week rent this hotel habitually. Even the waiters are familiar with us. The most important thing is to facilitate food, drink and transportation.
