Very old and run down. Dirty rooms. Breakfast was very limited as well as seating. Only thing going for this hotel is location (closed to ball fields).

The first appearance of the room was okay. I was excited to see 2 fridge & microwaves only to realize one set was broke. One mattress was so bad, you rolled to the middle. We contacted staff at 7 am after our first night, they said they would look into it, asked them again in the afternoon and they said maintenance didn’t arrive u til 2 pm, asked again at 9 pm and was told there was nothing they could do for us. The room and service definitely doesn’t match what they charge for a room. The Hampton across the street was much cleaner, better customer service and queen size beds instead of full.

The entrance door by our room was broken, and had been for a while and there was no one to fix it. The outlet for our TV was out and, again. no maintenance person available. We were informed that he was on his days off. Since things were broken when we got there they should have been fixed before his days off .

Room was good, this is the second stay in three weeks were the room door handles had to be held in a certain position for the key card to work. The side door lock did not work at all

Hotel is older. It is fine due to the convenience of the area. But definitely older and needs upgrades

Positives: Hotel staff was lovely. Swimming Pool & Deck look nice (but I didn't have time for a swim). Breakfast lobby is nicely kept.
Negatives: In comparison with other La Quintas, the one in West Peoria, Arizona, seems a bit neglected.
Carpet in our room looked dingy. A rug shampooing crew was working on a room down the hall and they said the rinse water was coming out black.
Stronger water pressure in the shower would help, because the region's hard water makes soap & shampoo harder to wash off.
Dead plants at the hotel's entrance make a strange first impression (I'll try to attach a photo).

Bathroom a disgrace. Shower tile had mold and pretty wide spread. Tile in the entire bathroom was dirty and overhead light was burnt out.
They had given us a handicapped room which was not requested.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The property was dirty. There were stains on the couch and carpet. Everything was sticky and rusted, not at all up to date. There was a mildew smell in the rooms. They refused us check out when we had to find another hotel because of the conditions and continued to run our reservation even though we asked 3 times to check out and have refused our refund even when we left within 2 hours of checking in. 0/10 would NOT recommend to anyone.

My stay was great. Customer service, cleanliness, amenities were all great. The only issue I had was the buzzing of the alarm clock. There was something wrong with it.
