The address is very good and very close to the commercial street. However, the heating was not hot enough at night, so I was wrapped in a quilt all night. In addition, the bathroom was not waterproof, and the shower would leak into the bar below.

Booked a table for dinner. Lovely welcome and lovely plentiful food. We had a chicken burger, a balti and chicken melt. All beautifully cooked and presented. Would heartily recommend a visit

Old town. Penzance was a disappointment. It's old and rundown. The staff at The Longboat Inn? Just great. From their point of view? Locals to fund the restaurant and bar... or guests? Twice I felt unsafe when in the bar/smoking area. One local guy was as drunk as a skunk and perhaps needed some help. I let the bar staff know and he wasn't there later on. But it happened again the next day but with several people that were there. I don't know the solution for the team at the Longboat. Locals or tourists? I wish you luck!

I didn't stay this time as it was full but visited it regularly for the great well priced food ( especially their Golden Years menu. Always a lively friendly atmosphere with top notch bar staff. It's so convenient for train and bis stations. It also has a 16 seater proper cinema you can use. Love the Longboat

We stayed in late April for three nights. Registration was easy when we got there and we were given our key to room 10. Nicely surprised by the large clean room. The beds were very comfortable and well made. Brewing facilities were a small kettle, Cornish Tea (grown in Cornwall near Truro), Escape coffee, Galaxy hot chocolate sachets, milk and sugar. We had both breakfast and evening meal there, and enjoyed them. You can get Porridge as well, a bonus for me, and if you require smaller portions they are available no problem. One of the best things about the Longboat is the staff. Very friendly and helpful, nothing to much trouble, definitely 10 out of ten for them. The Longboat is very handy for Penzance station. We found it spot on, and close to the bus station and shops, also the harbour if you wish to go to the Scilly Isles. A very enjoyable stay, and we hope to return later in the year.

The food was outstanding and I had a roast pork and my friend hsd a roast turkey it was delicious and tasty and out of this world the chief did a outstanding job of cooking our roast and the staff was friendly and helpful and polite and amazing and brilliant

one of my favourite places in Penzance. Nice and friendly staff, good bar, good beer, good food, nice beergarden. I've been visiting Penzance for almost 20 years now and I have never been disappointed when visiting the Longboat. I hope they will be around for ever and ever. Can't wait to be back.
