Hotels in Penghu Tianhou Temple District, Penghu

The location was perfect, close to the bus stop. The room was small, but there was a water server in the hallway, free powdered coffee and tea (both sweet), and some snacks, which was appreciated. There was no refrigerator in the room, but there was a shared refrigerator so we were able to store fruit and yogurt. The staff were also kind. I was glad to be able to stay in a private room for this price. However, there was only one bath towel provided, so I think it would have been better if there was a face towel.

The location is convenient. After checking out, we received a call asking if we had taken away the hand sanitizer. Once we checked into the room, it was very simple. There were not many supplies and we didn't see the hand sanitizer. We were told that we had not taken it away, and the staff thought it was housekeeping. I didn’t put it away at the beginning. I felt bad when I was called to question whether I had taken away the hand soap. I originally checked out and felt happy that I could check in next time. Next time I check in, I might have to film the room unpacking like YouTube. Please protect yourself😂

The pick up service from the airport was wonderful. Most of the ladies at the front is nice except one is impatient. She would recommend what time I should leave for the airport, she said it was my choice, however, she did give me the approximate time it would take. I just wish she was kinder.

The location is very good, with airport shuttles, a bus stop on the first floor, a FamilyMart convenience store, a pretty good breakfast shop, and a delicious oyster house. Everything is just a few minutes' walk away. The room is very clean and comfortable, the air conditioning is strong enough, and there is an automatic secret lock in the room which is very safe.

This is an old hotel that has been renovated. It is definitely new from the outside. It is clean, tidy and comfortable, and it is located just on the busiest street. This time I came to Penghu for New Year's Eve. It is very close to the county government square and can be reached on foot. The surrounding life functions are very developed. It is also very convenient to visit other attractions in Magong City. It is a good place to stay when traveling to Penghu.

My stay at this hotel was good. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future but future guest must be mindful that the sound insulation in the room is not great so outside noise does come in but it's not very disturbing. Also, it would be nice if the hotel can clean the A/C unit as that in particular had a scent coming from it or use some scented bags to give the room some sweet smelling essence. Overall, I enjoyed the few days I spent here.

In terms of the CP value of the room rate, the room size is moderate, the breakfast is OK, and you can also eat the local brown sugar cake. It seems that there are many group guests, but unfortunately the breakfast is only served until 9:00am, but the service staff kindly allowed us to extend it to 9:20am.

The location of the MF Hotel Penghu was convenient as it was close to the Magong ferry pier as well as the main streets of Magong. However, the quality of the room was not great. The room smelled mildewy and one of the beds in our room was not changed from the previous occupants. It reeked of sweat and one of the pillows smelled like someone had vomited on it; we had to put it in the closet due to the smell. The staff were very helpful and when we informed them of the bedding that needed replacing, they were very quick to replace it. Based on my own personal experience, I would not consider staying here in the future.
