Si Pitung Village

Pros: It is near the beach, the breakfast was ok and the staff friendly. Cons: the room was not specially clean, the wifi was extremely slow, the prayers from the mosque were too close and there were not mosquitos nets, we finished with many bites. The room is very dark and in general not too comfortable. The price was around 17 euros, cheap,but for that price we have been having very good acommodations

Overall a good stay. The room itself was clean and the location was good. I was dissappointed that the wifi didn't work in the room, since I booked here to work at night, so I ended up having to pay for extra data to tether from my phone. They said this was due to being a remote island, but I live on Gili T and know that many places can have good internet, they just need a second router placed further back toward the cabins. I would still stay again, just not for working.

From the minute you arrive here, you soon realise that I vibe is super relaxed and welcoming. The walk/ride to the beach/shops/restaurants was very short. We stayed in the two bedroom villa which was exceptionally clean and very spacious, there is a kitchen area with tea and coffee facilities, there bathroom have fresh towels and bedroom has clean bedding. The pool outside is very clean (great for a swim in the evening too) and the grounds were cleaned twice a day. The breakfast was great! Eggs were cooked perfectly! There is bike rental and you can rent snorkels also, And a shop just outside and a coffee bar just up from villas. (Very good coffee) I wanted to have a massage, but didn’t want to go to spa so pat (main guy I could not pronounce his name) organised a traditional massage for me in the villa, if was fantastic. He also helped with getting a driver for us for when we arrived in Lombok for the remainder of our holiday. Honestly the staff could not be faulted if we needed something they would go out of their way to either get it or find it. They were always so friendly but not to in your face that you felt like they are hovering. We come to the island every year and we have all said in the family that si patung village will be a stay every year after this stay. I would recommend highly for a relaxing stay!
