This is a cheap hotel so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, however, this hotel fell way below standard. The pictures of the hotel on Trip are not accurate- in fact I can see one of the pictures is an AI render and is in no way representative of the actual hotel. The room is damp and dingy, not clean at all and the walls are crumbling. I had booked 3 nights and left after 2 as I really couldn’t stay here. It’s a shame because the staff here are amazing; very kind and attentive, genuinely interested in talking to me and helpful with suggesting what to do on the island. They seemed sad when I left early but o really needed to get out. The location is good, 5 mins walk from the port and they have a beach front restaurant. The food was average, but that was consistent across all the restaurants I tried on Gili Meno.

Everything about Kira Kira was fantastic! Location was great, staff was so kind and incredibly accommodating, room and bathroom were large and spotless. Spa services were great - felt like a high end resort for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!!

A very hard-working resort with a high cost-effectiveness. M Island is very quiet and the beach is the most beautiful in Indonesia. It is suitable for diving, but it is not so prosperous.

During the Spring Festival, my family of 6 came to Gili M Island and stayed at Kurakura. I strongly recommend staying here. It was better than I expected. Although the hotel is not a five-star hotel, the room is clean and big. Although it was the rainy season, we stayed for 5 days. Although there were many clouds, we encountered a light rain for 1 hour. It was heavier at night, which did not affect the fun at all. We booked a connecting room with 2 children. There were 2 large beds, 2 single beds, and 3 rooms in total. There is also a small swimming pool. The island is very quiet. I met 1 Chinese in 5 days during the Spring Festival. Turn right when you go out and you will see an ATM machine, where you can withdraw cash with UnionPay. You can only use cash on the island, not credit cards. It was really unexpected. The hotel is located at the M Island Pier, and it takes only 1 minute to get off the boat. You can rent a bicycle to go around the island. Walking past the pier on the left is a good snorkeling area, with huge corals, rich colors, many turtles, and even more fish. Turn right and walk a few minutes to the small turtle base. Cross to the other side of the island, ride a bike for 5 minutes, and go down to the sea to see the most famous underwater sculptures. There are also many turtles and lionfish here. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and I love it here. The hotel restaurant is right at the door, facing the sea.
The slow life on the island is great, a perfect trip for the Spring Festival.

Good hotel. The location to the beach and pier is simply ideal. Breakfast on the seashore. The rooms are tired, but not critical. The bed is comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly.
