There’re is no fans in room it in jungle ( for test ) full of insect you cannot sleep in room in night they Dnt advice before we Dnt have fans in room all window broken to invite insect no doctor on call avail F n B manager is to stubborn first night he is not ready to serve vegan instead we advice in advance wastage of money if you book food is ok ok back side room like you are staying at Tecress pls Dnt stay at this hotel instead you better stay in monastery

We had a very pleasant stay. Location, view and ambience was superb. Staff was cordial. Food was good and restaurant service was excellent. Mr Subhashish was always available and went out of the way to cater to all our requirements. We shall make it a point to visit the property again.

In this property only view is excellent rooms apart from premium cottage are shabby and like lodge ..service is worst ..there cottages and dining room are 4 kms apart and they dont have golf cart ….there service is so bad that they will take 50 mins to deliever just towels or dishes …they dont have room service after 4 pm they dont have hot water for more then 5 mins …they dont refill dinner and breakfast once the container gets empty …there service staff Name :Normu yells at guest on top of her voice for refilling …over all dont visit this hotel they dont have facilities and they think they are taj group …dinner and breakfast only have few options not worth the money Room 3/5 Service 0/5 Staff 0/5 Facilities 1/5

On our recent trip to India my wife and I visited Sikkim. Had an amazing stay at Elgin Heritage Hotel and Resort in Pelling…. We highly recommend visiting Sikkim and Elgin resort for a very memorable and relaxing vacation. The variety and quality of food served was truly an experience. Our sincere thanks for the warm hospitality and service that the entire team from the reception, dining room, and other services extended to us , had a quality of finesse professionalism.

A lovely period, heritage hotel in Pelling. After a long and 'interesting ' drive on the mountain roads we were great full to arrive at this little peaceful oasis. It's beautifully situated on the steep hill side, close to a number of interesting sites (walking distance) with lovely, well-tended gardens - beautifully manicured and perfect for enjoying afternoon tea. The lounge and bar area evoke the style of the 1930s/40s - perfect for relaxing with a g&t. The dining room though is bright and featureless - a disappointment. It's possible though to eat on the terrace away from the noise of the dining room (why do people want to share their video-calls with everyone?). It's not an intimate dining room - catering for families and groups. The food is fine - good selection and well prepared. But the menu is perhaps too big - trying to be too international. I'm not a fan of buffet food and I guess it's my fault for opting to try it...it was fine but I don't like some dishes being luke-warm nor others stirring through my food. Not all dishes claimed were available either. The bedroom (deluxe) was quite small, but adequate for a 2 night stay. It would benefit from some refurbishment, as could the bathroom. All dated rather than in keeping with period of the hotel. The bed, though very large, was also very hard and uncomfortable. The ensuite bathroom did need modernising. However I forgive these things in a hotel like this - i don't want my hotels to lack character. The staff, of course, were all fabulous and helpful!
