The Ritz-Carlton, Naples

Gorgeous rooms, beautiful views, amazing service, fantastic restaurants and food. Attention to detail superior than the rest. I don’t love sand and beach vacations aren’t my preference, but all I wanted to do was sit ocean side, under an umbrella. If you are looking for a beach vacation, look no more. Everything is incredibly easy at the Ritz. The staff anticipates your needs before you even know them. Customer service at its finest!

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz last week celebrating our 25th year anniversary and my 50th birthday. We had an amazing time and were treated unbelievably from the minute we checked in until we checked out. Everywhere we went around the property, everyone knew about our special celebration and we were treated well beyond our expectations! They also upgraded us to a beautiful bilevel suite that made our trip even more fantastic! Thank you to the staff of the Ritz Carlton of Naples Florida for making our trip so memorable!

This hotel was underwhelming upon arrival where I saw a white construction looking sign letting me know the water slides and lazy river were closed. I was pretty upset I was not notified these areas would be under construction as I was mainly staying to enjoy these paid for amenities. The construction everywhere really was an eyesore and the rate at the time was $1100 a night I would’ve preferred to save that for when all promised amenities were available or had a price modification to match the amenities that had been taken away after purchase with no warning. Had I been made aware I would have changed my booking for a later date. Then throughout my stay it was a nice hotel but the employees did not make it feel like you were at the ritz, they made it seem like they were being forced to work and doing things were a bother. Upon check out we left our belongings with the front desk and upon retrieval they had misplaced one of my items and when I asked for it they stated they never received it, I had a ticket for this item proving I had turned it in. The front desk agent kept “checking” for the item but couldn’t find it and mentioned he would ship it back for the inconvenience if and when found and that I would be notified when it was. I called back the next morning after no contact and asked if my belonging was found and I was told yes they did not think to call me when it was rediscovered I had to reach out. Then they sent me a link to PAY to ship my items back myself only after calling back to complain this was an error on their part and then did the front desk agent state it would be refunded by them for the exact amount of the charge. It was an extreme Hastle and extremely poor customer service. I was in shock to find out they were storing our bags outside by the valet booth, my bags and those of the other guests could’ve easily been taken. For such a “nice” hotel I would’ve expected the belongings to at least be in an air conditioned room it was 90 degrees mid day with bags sitting outside exposed to elements. I wish I could’ve prevented this poor experience by not staying here. I would recommend staying at the nearby property the ritz tiburon. That resort gives you access to the ritz naples beach with chairs and at the other property we had a much better experience.

We are back at our fav Ritz-Carlton here in Naples!!! Just a short ride from Naples Airport where we do business and this is a great place to unwind and rest after two hard days of work. Check in was smooth, fast and easy in the Club Lounge by Patty. Where we got a quick drink before heading up to our rooms for a quick shower and to unpack. The Club Lounge is a great place to relax and get a great tasty gourmet snack, and a nice cold drink and get superb service from The hostesses, Patty, Esmeralda, Clariet, Jane, Nancy, and Bartenders Mike and Katheryn. Our rooms 855 and 856, in the new wing were clean, comfy, and relaxing, with great views of the pool, beach and ocean. We dined at The Grill, the first night, and dined at Nolita for the second and third night. And a shout out to the men of the Car valet, front area, and the bell men, who took great care of us, especially to Juan, Dave, Kelly, Jeffery and Joe. I hope I got everyone. Thank You. Nice to relax by the lap pool area where getting in and out of the pool was easy by the steps. Thanks to Watson who got us all set up with our lounge chairs. We also stayed on the beach also where the Gulf water was warm and the sand was soft, and clean. With large umbrella's provided and comfy lounge chairs to relax in. Plenty of towels, and waitress service provided. Just raise your flag up. Overall, like I stated before, this is our favorite place to stay, relax, dine and get great service. Plus great sunsets every night don't get boring at all!!! We will be back!!! A.Balshi
