Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

Had a wonderful stay here.Stayed half board, the food was excellent. Staff were lovely always greeted with a smile in the dining room. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Only one down side, theres not enough sunbeds, but in fairness to the hotel,theres not really anywhere they could put more.However it was only one day we couldn't get one.Probably a real struggle in high season. We were lucky enough to be there for the white party ,a nice touch by the hotel. I love Paguera and have been many times and this is the best hotel I've stayed in. Will definitely be returning. Can't wait.

My partner Steve and I stayed at the Valentin Somni Suites, Paguera from 14/7 until 21/7. The hotel is spotless and as another guest said previously, smells divine. All the staff throughout the hotel are welcoming and very helpful. We had to change rooms after our first night as we were in the basement, opposite a storage room and from 7am heard doors opening and closing. The Reception staff were most helpful and had a new room on 2nd floor ready under an hour. The restaurant catered for all and offered a wide range of options, very impressive. The only downside is not enough sun beds but on saying that we managed to get one each day, not always in the morning. For whatever reason there seemed to be several bistro sets just outside double doors from main bar (without umbrellas) and from what I could see were rarely used by guests. So, therefore can I suggest they be removed and sun beds put in their place. In turn, guests will be able to use them and obviously spend money at your lovely pool bar during the day. What a fabulous hotel! It exceeded our expectation. From the moment you walk through the door the friendly, professional team provide the warmest welcome. Fabulous decor and superb facilities. This hotel would appeal to couples young and old, friends or family with adult children. It was a super mix. Our Silver Room was well worth paying a little extra. Spacious and well appointed. The daily linen and towel change was much appreciated. Thank you to Marie Luz for looking after us so well. We booked half board and thought we would have one or two meals in the town. That didn’t happen… this was the best half board we have ever had. Quality, selection, fresh and good temperature food. This was replicated at breakfast. Themed nights were really well presented. The gentlemen cleaning and maintaining the pool area work efficiently and ensure sunbed reservation rules are adhered to. I have never known this before but it make life much better. The whole team work well together throughout the hotel at all levels. The bar team and waiters work with a smile and and in a friendly manner. Special mention for Paco, Fanny and Pool bar manager. Daily activities were carried out without being in your face. Laura and her colleague were fun and inclusive. Entertainment is available every night. Not all to our taste but the Acrobats, R&B Soul singer, Jackson tribute and the Swing singer were fabulous. There was a White Party whilst we were there, lunch was a superb tapas and paella lunch with drinks. Entertainment from a drummer and acrobat added a great atmosphere. All complimentary and very well organised. Valentin have other hotels which we intend to look at if this is the level of hospitality and will probably revisit Somni Suites.
