A perfect secluded beach vacation. The resort had everything you could want on a beach vacation: rentals, restaurant, pool overlooking the beach, direct beach access. It was just a short walk to the restaurants and shops in the rest of Playa Venao, but it was just far enough away to not be as busy as the main part of Playa Venao. This resort was smaller, so it felt like home, and all the staff knew us by the end of our stay. The staff was very attentive to us being vegetarian and always offered plenty of no-meat options that weren’t even on the menu. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet beach getaway.

Beautiful location, calm environment, clean big rooms, good food. Only tip is they need new pool lounge chairs. Short walk to la playita, also walkable to a jungle waterfall hike. Hammocks in room balconies are a plus. Would definitely stay here again

Staff Nina and Dennis were awesome. Location is great. Bring some bug spray as there were a few mosquitos and sand fleas in the area. Food was tasty!

What a superb experience! We’re a family of 5 surfers, stayed here for one month, & Villa Marina (VM) provided us w/ one of the best vacation experiences of our lives! We have traveled/surfed all over Latin America, but VM lovely accommodations; gorgeous, secluded views right on the beach; well-maintained premises; excellent infrastructure and wifi(!); and warm, impeccable hospitality are unparalleled. The 2 lovely pools; wonderful services with Viviana & Zuri (yoga, massage, & mani/pedí); and nice restaurant and bar were all highlights for us. Importantly, the staff were just incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. Our special thanks to Nina, Ariel, and William for making feel so welcome! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again!

The location is wonderful. It's at the end of the playa Venao so its quiet. Beautiful view at from the apartment we stay in. The apartment is a nice size for 4 adults. Staff are friendly.
Two miner points: 1. apt 504 the master bedroom rolling screen for the window is broken. So there's no privacy at night and in the morning when the sunrise you will have no choice to wake up. 2. the breakfast is not worth it. (small omelette with a few pieces of small bread for $10 USD) and a coffee.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Everything is perfect. Just 5 minutes by walk to the "center" of playa venao (the walk on the beach every day is amazing). Very quiet place. Directly on the beach. Good breakfast (from 6 $). Staff help you to organise activities (surf, horse ride....) It is the perfect place if you have kids because you can easily spend time in the center but you don't have to suffer of noisy parties. Very clean hotel. A beautiful experience for us. We will come back.

We had a really great time for all the family. My dog had a blast too. The service was very good, the room was clean and cozy. Food also good with many options available. Totally a recommended place !!
