Club Sun Heaven - All Inclusive

We stayed here for a week which turned into 10 days after my wife messed up our return flights. We wasn’t impressed to start off with, with staff and food but as soon as we raised this matter with the food and beverage manager ‘Ahmed’ he rectified this straight away and was very helpful. He sent us a fruit platter and champagne to our room and also went to the shop for us when they had ran out of bananas for our daughter. We thought this was very heartfelt. The bar staff are very friendly in the pool bar and we didn’t drink any spirits but the beer was good and they always made sure your cup was full. The entertainment was very good especially when they done the pool party and Kobi was very friendly and could speak good English. The maids always made sure our fridge was full with water for our baby bottles. Overall we can’t really fault the place apart from the Russians. They can be very rude and abrupt and like to push in ques and elevators! This isn’t the hotel’s fault but maybe some more international families and English speakers might brighten up the vibe a little bit.

We had a rest with the children at the end of June-beginning of July. We arrived at about 13:00, the reception told us to wait because the rooms were not ready yet, no one imposed the surcharge, but it was not logical either - we went straight to the dining room for lunch. The room was given in the new first building on the 5th floor, which is also the 6th, since there is also floor A. The room is compact and fresh. I didn't like the fact that there is no hallway - the entrance flows smoothly into the room. A double bed, a bunk bed and a folding sofa turned out to be convenient for our children - the sofa was immediately moved to the bed since the son is always rolling and falling, and there are sides here, the daughter immediately took the bunk bed and said she would sleep with her mother, so I got a double bed) The bathroom is good, the balcony has a view of the sea and old boarding houses, things flew off the first night - workers go to collect from the roof every morning, then they became smarter and began to tie up light headscarves and similar children's things. The elevators were a little stressful sometimes, but not critical. We were cleaned every day, towels always seemed to be changed, there are no complaints about cleaning the room, but there is a slight feeling that the cleaning is superficial or something, I don't know how to explain it, purely because of the little things, for some reason it seems so, but it didn't bother me. Beach towels are changed every 3 days, many wrote - we don't need any criticism at all, take them away in the evening before 7, they told us there was nothing to replace them in the afternoon - hand them over in the evening, we'll return them in the morning. That's what we did (changed 1 time out of 10 days of stay). Bars are normal. The staff is quite adequate. The main bar with cocktails, in the canteens, the beach and the Benjamin cafe only beer, wine and soda are not critical. The dining room is normal, everything is fine. By the end of the rest, the occupancy rate increased and boarding problems began for dinner - of course, this is unacceptable for the hotel, they started coming by 7, I noticed that people started to be taken to the 3rd building, but after two evenings of wandering with children in search of places, they did not take risks and began to come at 7 pm, after 7:40 already there are no problems with seats, it is in the interval from 7:15 to 7:40. The snack bar is great, the Benjamin cafe with a grain coffee machine, tea and cozy tables under a tree, the place where we always rested between activities is just respect for this place. Ice cream on the beach from 14 to 16 and in the evening from 20 to 21 unlimited, everyone ate too much. The tortillas are delicious on the beach, just like everywhere else, however, the snack bar is not far from the beach, sometimes they brought food to the children from there, it didn't bother. I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction and formally submit a complaint regarding the service and a serious incident that occurred during our stay at Sun Heaven Family & Spa. During our stay, we went to dinner and left our personal belongings by the pool, as is common in hotel resorts. We were away for approximately 20 minutes. Upon returning, we discovered that our belongings – three towels, children’s inflatable toys, and other items – with a total value of over €90, had disappeared. We were later informed by other guests and staff that our items had been collected by either staff members or security. We approached the reception, and we were told that within three days, the security staff would show us where our belongings were and how to retrieve them. However, not only were our items never returned, but we also received no real assistance from the staff. The attitude from the hotel personnel was completely unacceptable – they were unhelpful, shouted at us, and treated us with obvious disrespect throughout the entire situation. Moreover, we were offered no solution or compensation. We only received empty promises such as “come back tomorrow,” “wait for the guard,” “we are still investigating,” without any actual action being taken. Our belongings were never returned, and we felt both robbed and humiliated. Given what happened, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone – neither to families with children nor to individual travelers. This experience has caused great disappointment, as we expected a completely different level of service and security from a five-star hotel.

We had a fantastic week at Sun Heaven, always got our great spot by the pool every morning. The food was amazing, loads of variety, and all the staff were fantastic. Kubi from the animation team was great, organising disco tours and daily activities and always coming to say hi and make sure we were well looked after. We will absolutely be coming back again
