Our first family holiday with our 3 year old daughter. When we arrived we paid to upgrade our room which was worth the money!. Our room was very nice, the view from the balcony was amazing. Food was really nice, entertainment was good too. Would 100% be coming back. Ferhat & Sinan were great staff! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

We have just returned from 10 nights here, myself , my husband and 3 kids, 12,14,17. I will start with the positives- On arrival we where offered to upgrade to the new Blue hotel for 50 euros which was great however it is farther from the island so we opted to stay put, also read some reviews on the blue and lots of negative so thought i would stay where we where. Eftalia Aqua is a lovely hotel, spotless all the time, rooms cleaned every day, towels , sheets etc and such lovely cleaner too. Spacious and modern rooms, we had the 2 bedroom family room on ground floor. Lots of sun loungers and the most amazing pool attendant who made sure everyone got a lounger and umbrella, he was constantly cleaning the area too. Lifeguards on at the pool and slide areas where brilliant. Slides at hotel where great as where the ones down in the island. Entertainment staff excellent , especially ali who our kids loved. One waiter Fadil in the restaurant made sure we had a table every night, brought our drinks to us etc and always with a smile. Entertainment was fantastic most nights as was the island, we all enjoyed the shows and the foam party at the island. 2 of the kids done the zip line across the island which was reasonably priced and got a go pro video each for 8 euros. My hubby and 2 kids done the parasailing one day, great price and also managed to get an excellent deal on the drone video, their go pro video and approx 40 pics, highly recommend. To top is off the weather was amazing for our entire stay. Island area very good but extremely busy. Lots of food on offer through the day and night but i will talk about that in the negatives! Negatives - Not a real all inclusive - 1 euro for orange juice at breakfast, inclusive drinks where awful, even a double rum and coke tasted like coke, have to be water down! Beer poor and no cocktails included. Cocktails where amazing but cost between 8-10 euros each! No ice cream available unless you paid for it apart from between 2-4pm when chocolate ice cream lollies came out , if you have a nut allergy just forget about going near it. Constantly trying to sell you things, massages, photos, tattoos, hair braids and cocktails! stand around the pool area selling waffles and ice cream but again not included. Beach is terrible, water was stinking and full of stones, our first attempt for a sea dip my middle child had the sole of her foot sliced open on a very sharp rock, and we went to that part that the map said was least rocky, needless to say we didnt have any beach days! Now for food, plenty of places to eat at hotel at allotted times through the day, snack bar at slide pool at 12, burger land 2-6pm then 10pm onwards, restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as expected. Down on island you could get kebabs, chips , chicken wings from stands as part of the all inclusive and also a couple of large areas to eat with similar food to the snack bar at hotel, chips, pizza, burgers, salad. Waffles with chocolate sauce fr

This Hotel is 10/10 Absolutely beautiful hotel. We arrived in September and on arrival we was greeted and shown to our rooms. We have had an excellent service from many staff especially Lokman who helped with our luggage was brilliant. The reception staff are more than helpful. They are very friendly, kind and polite which was very pleasing. We was greeted day and night by Durmus, Osman and Ferhat which made us feel welcome. You guys were best!! The food was amazing with plenty to eat every night and we had a lovely waiter called Kani he made sure every night we had a good night and service. He is super and an excellent member to the restaurant team. Also Ihsan was great too. The lady who greeted every night made me smile and welcomed ☺️ The pools are clean and warm and the entertainment was outstanding. This hotel is amazing for all families and we will be back next year. Beautiful place and lots to do. It's the staff that have made us want to come back next year along with the beautiful hotel! It's very clean and well maintained ❤️ Great Great Holiday More Date of stay: September 2024 See all 3,339 reviews

Brilliant family holiday. We stayed for 14 nights in August, we had an idea what to expect as we stayed at the ocean two years ago. Check in was fast we were offered an upgrade on our room and we took the upgrade we went from a standard family room to a two bedroom family room well worth the money. Pools were great, we stayed at the big pool our whole stay and went across to the slides when open. We hired a pool side cabana for our stay so we could have shade in the afternoons if needed. There was music and a few pool games throughout the day overall the pool was brilliant. Sunbeds were reserved but if you spoke to the pool man he always found beds for everyone. Restaurant. Breakfast was ok we always found something to eat. Lunch was good pasta, rice, meats, salads, bread, restaurant staff would serve you drinks if you wanted if not you went to the bar which was always quick for lunch and evening meal. Evening meal the restaurant was so hot, unbearably hot at times. We got there at opening and was out within 30 minutes because of the heat. The food was always good always hot. Island We only used the slides twice as we had a brilliant selection in our hotel. The food during the day on the island was excellent, jacket potato, rice, pasta, chicken donor, chicken wings, chips, nuggets, salads. Ice cream from 12-4pm. The hotel staff work so hard in the heat, yes they like to be tipped, we tipped our cleaning ladies and the bar staff at the pool a few times. We had to use the onsite doctor for my daughter, again it was quick and efficient we had what we needed all with 30 minutes. Even though it was August and I'm guessing the hotel was full, there wasn't really any queues, nowhere seemed overly crowded. We had a fantastic relaxing 2 week holiday and I would 100% come back again

Just returned last night from an amazing 10 days away with wife and 2 kids 12years and 9 years and what an amazing time we had, stayed at aqua and did upgrade when arrived to a 2 bed family room as the open plan room was just a little small with 2 girls getting ready each night. Can't fault hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and would do anything for you , food was OK always something to eat its not amazing but you make what you can of it , you won't go hungry. What made the holiday was the 5 minute walk to the island this is were we spent most of our time days out around the party pool out the 3 available pools and then at night at the entertainment hosted by one of the best animation teams I have came across, big shout out to boo and cocopops who were incredible with kids with daily dart games and pool entertainment the whole team during the day were fantastic then the entertainment at night at the theatre was a great laugh few nights was dancers and stage shows then a few nights of crowd involvement, my wife and I winning Mr and Mrs eftalia one night then me winning Mr eftalia another night and finally my wife winning miss eftalia on one of the last nights , great great great jobs guys and we have already booked 14 nights next year, so in conclusion as I have seen a lot of negative reviews for this place Hotel 4/5 Food 3/5 Island 100/5 See you all next year David (Mr eftalia )

We stayed for 10 nights mid June. If you’ve booked don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll have a a fab holiday. We did have a really good time however it just isn’t up to par with some of the other places we’ve stayed, even other hotels in Turkey. It was a nice place but isn’t somewhere we would return to. The food is as you’d expect. You could always find something to eat, though the dinning rooms were a bit mental at peak times and the rude individuals who believe they are above queuing, certainly add to the frustrations of mealtimes. The drinks are also rather lacklustre, small cups are provided so you have to keep going back up and the selection is limited and watered down (seemingly). There are no cocktails at all on the menu which is disappointing. Usually on all inclusive I would expect to pay for the high end cocktails or named ice creams and that’s fine however this hotel has so many extras, all at an additional cost, ie the orange juice for break fast, ice creams, the food in huts around the pool, yes you don’t have to partake but with children etc.. it can be difficult. Everyone we had spoken to had spent a lot more than anticipated. Not much drink wise is available at the island - had to pay for a vodka coke and the queues for pizzas etc.. are ridiculous. I don’t think the hotel gives enough information as to where everything is and what’s available when you arrive. A map would certainly be helpful with a bit of detail. There is an adult pool - however unless this has changed this isn’t paid attention to, as it was full of children whenever we went. The sunbed situation was an issue. They were like gold dust round the main pool. People would save them with towels, very early (like 4am!!) and then not come down until well after dinner. Towels were never removed by the hotel staff! Usually all Sunbeds were gone before 7am. However, if you then tipped the pool attendant he miraculously found some more beds that were stashed away. Frustrating for the people who asked the attendant beforehand and didn’t tip and were told there was none, but basically no money no bed. In fairness there were 2 days toward the end of our holiday, where the spare sunbeds were stacked out to be taken as needed (all the spares not those pre-saved - that was still happening), perhaps there had been a few too many complaints as a lot of people were unhappy with the situation. There was even a fight on our last day - 2 grown men seemingly arguing over pinched sunbeds. One actually flipped the other off a sunbed and then picked it up to throw it at him! Both behaved inappropriately in front of all the children and other guests- the one swinging around the sunbed like a club near children and babies including his own, was allowed to stay where he was and the other was moved out of the area (wrong call really)! The rooms (we had a 2 bed family room) were nice and clean and had everything you would need. The maid came in every day and made swans and things with

So myself my hubby and three children aged 6/11/13 have just spent 10 days Eftalia Aqua. I tried to ignore some of the bad reviews that I had read as I am pretty much open-minded however I can understand some of the bad reviews we arrived at around 1 am. We were asked if we would like to upgrade and pay extra to stay at eftalia blue which we declined as we had Family that had arrived earlier that day and friends were joining us within the coming days we were then taken to our room which was a basement room we had booked and paid for two bedroom family room and this was one large room with the divide to separate the double bed and two single beds. This was not acceptable for what we had paid, my son was terrified, as it was underground we went back to the lobby and explained that this was not acceptable. They confirmed there was nothing we could do until the following day after an hour of sitting around we handed the key card back and said we would just bed down in the lobby for the night, they then offered us a jacuzzi suite for the night (5 beds in one room above ground) we took this room for the night we were not able to unpack and settle explore or use the pools as we had to go back to reception the following day after three further rooms they finally got us a two bed family room and we could then enjoy our holiday. When a friend arrived a few days later she was also given a basement room and offered to upgrade to which she declined and had to wait for another room another day seems a way for them to try and get more money out of people. Food …. I mean you won’t starve but it’s not great. The theme seemed to be saluted meat and mashed potatoes most nights however if you are happy with chips and burgers then burger land is always there. As a back up. Again not great a quality edible if you stick to chips in a batch. Pool…. The pools themselves are great and the slides it was really hot there so the water was nice. Once you were in one thing I could not stand his house Slippy the floor is and yes although there are some blue slip mats around pools and slides, they are not everywhere we saw adults and children fall every single day on the tiles landing on backs and heads. Even one lady fell over who had pool shoes on. You will be ambushed by the staff at all opportunities to spend extra. You are asked every 20 minutes if you would like to buy a cocktail while you’re around the pool you’ll be asked to buy Photos bingo tickets Shisha clothes so you will get sick of saying no ha ha The hotel was kept clean. The maids were very friendly but was very difficult to communicate with most of the staff seemed helpful. Apart from a few on reception. I spoke to a few families that had had items go missing from their room, but we were lucky we managed to keep all of our belongings in the safe. Take your own cups as the ones they give you aren’t very clean as you will see in the photos. my kids thoroughly enjoyed it which was the main thing how
