After walking(!) 30+ miles on the C&O trail from Hancock, MD, this place was an absolute haven. They already had the space heater going in the cabin when I arrived, the water for the shower in the bathhouse was hot(!), and there was a microwave, fridge, and water filter w/ hot & cold water in the cabin, so I was able to make my cup ramen and store the beer that I bought at the corner gas station on the way in because I knew I wouldn’t even be able to make it to the one restaurant in town. The bed was luxurious. They provide towels, cups, coffee and creamer, and the French press. Everything immaculately maintained. I’m only sad I didn’t get the bus cabin, because it was already booked.
