The resort is expensive but worth every penny . It is far away from Rishikesh town and superbly located on the banks of the Ganges . Our rooms overlooked the river as did the restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast and lunch . The staff is extremely knowledgeable about local mythology and folklore , very friendly and attentive to all our needs . Rooms are large and have all modern amenities .

My experience was very pleasant. The staff is very welcoming and the food at restaurant was delicious. Mr. Akshay and Jai Prakash were very sweet and helpful. My stay was very smooth and I enjoyed a lot. Bhupinder bhaiya was also very kind and told us about the flora and fauna around. This is was a memorable trip and the property was beautiful and the hospitality of the staff was the best.

I was here with my sister for Ganga maa darshan and stayed for two days. Good property and courteous staff. Excellent food. The Ganga Aarthi was excellent and it is best for people with disability or who do not like large crowd. Keep up the good work.

Just want to start off by saying thank you to the whole Taj Rishikesh Resort and Spa's staff team - be it front desk, restaurant staff, wellness team, Room service team - one world for all of them FLAWLESS and whatever they did for me and for my family it was simply outstanding . Would want to name few of the team members who made our stay amazing Hitesh (front desk manager), Mr Chandan ( all day dining ) , Ravinder, Riya, Akshay & Chef Sanjay (Riverside restaurant) and even staff at Pebble beach restaurant.. they all did a fabulous job in arranging bday cake for my mother birthday celebration, assisting my parents in spa experience and recommending some lip packing food each time we were hungry. This is what TAJ hospitality is all about and I want to thank each and everyone of you all for this memorable experience especially for my parents. Apologies if I may have missed any names but thank you from the bottom of my heart . Will be back soon . Regards Dhruv

Excellent property worth the money spent. Would come back again. Dining is an experience with lots of local delicacies. Breakfast with live counters is the best. Totally family destination. Spa is worth experiencing. Even library has great collection.

Excellent property, excellent service, very kind and helpful staff, good food. Only issue we faced was that the pillows were very soft and they did not have much choice in pillows. Rest was too good. Will visit again in December.

Impeccable service. What takes this beautiful property a notch above is the staff who seem intent on making this the best hotel stay of your life. The rooms are luxurious, the food is amazing (including kid meals); the views of the river are just gorgeous. Special mention to all the restaurant staff members - Jayprakash, Akshay, Ankush, Priyanka, and so many others that I would like to thank - they took care of us like we were family - sharing parts of their lives with an unfaltering smile. Highly recommend trying all the restaurants - the food is just incredible. We had a great Diwali break and are so happy we chose to stay here!

We had the most amazing time in the Taj resort Rishikesh. The most beautiful views of the Himalayas & river. The staff were so friendly & kind and the food was so good. I had the best pizza ever that was made from the local dark millet and was so crispy & tasty made by the talented young chef Ayush Sharma. Thank you all for unforgettable memories
