Hotel Montecallini has been a fantastic surprise, we loved it. We couldn't have asked for more: friendly staff, spacious and clean room, more than generous breakfast and delicious food at the restaurant.
You may need a car but at short distance (max 10-15 mins) you have some shops, restaurants, beaches and Leuca.
We loved spending the day at the beach and having a spritz by the pool in the evening surrounded by the the botanic garden.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Beautiful decor. Wonderful pool with hydromassage area, set in the gardens. Breakfast provided plenty of choice and all servers throughout the day were very friendly and efficient. Room was large with good sized bathroom and balcony with garden and sea view and perfectly quiet. What made our trip special was the amazing reception team. Julio and Chiara, supported by Nicolo and Valentina helped us so much. Julio organised several tours for us then very reasonable car hire. In each instance we were picked up at the hotel. Chiara planned a day trip for us including wine tasting, ceramic studio visit finishing with a delicious seafood lunch overlooking the sea. A very memorable holiday for us.

We cycled 80 km in 30 degrees heat. The short but steep hill up to the hotel took the last energy out of us. Wonderful to check into a nice and clean hotel room. After a shower a looong relax at the nice outdoor pool. Very good and rich continental breakfast. Easy to store our bicycles over the night.

We spent a week at this Wonderful hotel. We had a sea view suite superior room that was clean and spacious. Chiara at the front desk was amazing and super helpful. Breakfast was awesome with everything you could possibly want. Dinner was also spectacular using fresh vegetables directly from their garden. Beach towels were provided by the hotel. We had a rental car so we were able to explore the area and its beaches. There is a wonderful beach in walking distance but it’s a rock beach so you need water shoes but the water was amazing. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return.

We stayed for a week at Hotel Montecallini and cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was a great location to base ourselves and explore the Lecce province of Puglia - hire car (or scooter) is a must in this location. The hotel is spotless, well maintained and big enough to provide what you need but small enough to be friendly, welcoming and cosy. The room we had was perfect and clean, everything worked and was routinely serviced each day by lovely, friendly staff. The pool and grounds were fabulous and we enjoyed hanging around the hotel as much as we enjoyed our trips out and exploring. But what really makes this adults only hotel special are the exceptional staff, who really go out of their way to make you feel at home, ensure you have everything you need and seem really pleased to offer recommendations or help with local restaurant and hire car booking. The reception team are particularly impressive and especially Giulio, such a warm, caring and friendly host who - despite being busy - always found time to help. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Puglia!

This is the second stay at the Hotel Montecallini, and it has been renovated without losing its origins and its connection with the territory. The well-trained staff is ready to satisfy all the guests' needs with courtesy and kindness. Whether it is for check-in, or for the breakfast, or for any other need, they always welcome with a smile, ready to help and give any advice. The room, with its balcony, was wide clean and comfortable. The bathroom offers high quality bath products and soft towels. In the room there are many home automation systems that control all the lights and the cooling system. Just a suggestion: check the energy management so that when the electronic key is removed, all the devices are switched off (except the fridge). Breakfast offers a wide selection of homemade cakes, coffee machines, fresh fruit (varies daily), and salty hot food. The croissants, which can be filled with a variety of creams at the moment, are particularly good. The pool is well equipped with comfortable sun loungers and towels. Interesting is the possibility to book the private Jacuzzi which offers a high level of privacy and relaxation.

The Room was huge and very comfortable. The personal has been very kind and competent for all the time we stayed (in particular Rosaria from the Reception and all the staff in the restaurant). A super positive feedback goes to the amazing perfume flooding the structure.

A Beautiful and impeccably clean hotel. We enjoyed our 4 nights stay here. The rooms and well maintained, they are comfortable , light, airy and very clean. The service is excellent and staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. As everyone else says the breakfast here is amazing. All fresh local produce , we couldn’t help but to have seconds. The pool area is nice and quiet, and very relaxing. The hotel is close to the beach and several very nice restaurants. I highly recommend staying here. It’s excellent value for money. We would definitely return!!

Pace garantita. Fuori dal centro, ma poco lontano da San Gregorio, torre vago e Leuca. Immerso nel verde, piscina pulita e rilassante, interni molto curati, camere spaziose. Molto apprezzato il servizio giornaliero di teli da mare. In camera piccoli omaggi di ben venuto che accolgono gli ospiti all’arrivo. Ricca e varia la colazione. Presente un buon ristorante con tavoli nel porticato. Grazie per l’ospitalità e i tanti consigli alla bravissima Chiara, Nicolò’ e Giulio (in reception sempre accoglienti e sorridenti), e alle ragazze del bar, cortesi e mai invadenti.
