We stayed for a week at Hotel Montecallini and cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was a great location to base ourselves and explore the Lecce province of Puglia - hire car (or scooter) is a must in this location. The hotel is spotless, well maintained and big enough to provide what you need but small enough to be friendly, welcoming and cosy. The room we had was perfect and clean, everything worked and was routinely serviced each day by lovely, friendly staff. The pool and grounds were fabulous and we enjoyed hanging around the hotel as much as we enjoyed our trips out and exploring. But what really makes this adults only hotel special are the exceptional staff, who really go out of their way to make you feel at home, ensure you have everything you need and seem really pleased to offer recommendations or help with local restaurant and hire car booking. The reception team are particularly impressive and especially Giulio, such a warm, caring and friendly host who - despite being busy - always found time to help. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Puglia!

Ho soggiornato per una settimana alla masseria e non posso che dire cose positive a cominciare dalla gentile accoglienza dopo un lungo viaggio in treno. La stanza dove mi trovavo e’ spaziosa e c’e’ anche un salottino. Ottima la pulizia sia della stanza che del bagno anche esso piuttosto spazioso. Al mattino in un bel salone viene servita la colazione molto bella da vedersi per la disposizione, ma anche molto buona con dolci di vario tipo veramente gustosi ed un grande vassoio di frutta già tagliata. Si puo’ trovare anche la parte del salata anche essa ben fornita. Un ringraziamento speciale a Lucia ed Alessandro per la loro simpatica accoglienza e professionalita’ e gentilezza durante la colazione. Consigliero’ la masseria anche ai miei amici e ci tornerò con grande piacere.
