We didn’t actually have the pleasure of staying in this hotel. However we did come here to use the pool and stay at the beach. If you were not staying here you had to pay a €5 fee. Which is pretty standard anywhere you go. The hotel lobby is very nice and everyone was friendly. We came straight to the pool area for coffee. The bar tender, waitress, and lifeguard were all very nice. The coffee was amazing. The waitress came by the chairs on the beach to check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything else. We would stay here if we had the opportunity on our next visit.

About Porto Rio The staff are very kind and respectful...only they raise the hotel to the level of 4*...otherwise the hotel does not deserve more than 2* All inclusive is a thorn...the same food every day in the morning...it's ok if you're not picky, you can choose to eat different every day At lunch...3-4 dishes with the same side dishes, pasta, rice and potatoes...on no day were there fried potatoes, at least for the children, insufficient desserts, if you weren't careful you couldn't get enough for that they passed very quickly The Greeks are not soup experts, but there is no soup at lunch, instead, soup is served in the evening Dinner...about the same every day In the land of olives, olives are completely absent...only in one day I saw them Everything is paid for at the pool bar between 10am and 1pm, after 1pm you get the cheapest drinks, and in the evening between 8pm and 10pm alcoholic drinks At 10 p.m., when people would sit on the terrace... the bar closes The rooms, with quite outdated furniture, but ok to sleep, the beds are ok, the bathroom ok without the smell of mold as other guests said...cleaning is done and towels are changed daily... The pool is ok with water between 0.8-2.7m... although the hotel has 3 pools, only the big one is for guests, one is rented to someone else and you have to pay, and another is taken by those who take care of the SPA, so here you pay There are not enough sunbeds at the pool, there are people who occupy them and don't pick up the towels until the end of the stay, or at least that was the practice until I raised this problem to the manager, then another thief followed, she followed you, if you were absent for 30 minutes at the sunbed the staff would pick up your towel and you would be left without a sunbed The beach...sand and stones...and entering the sea only with stones...requires shoes otherwise you get hurt If you find it elsewhere, I recommend going elsewhere, otherwise you will be disappointed

It is a terrible hotel, what they advertised it is not true, rooms are noot good, pool is not clean, the beach has no sunbeds nor umbrellas, the food choice is poor. The staff is not frendly or up to the task. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

The only good thing is the bed.. good bed, clean room.. The rest is horrible. The food is the worst food I ever ate anywhere in my life. Their private beach is really dirty and the sand and rocks are the worst I ever experienced (very bad , sharp and trash everywhere). The AC is barely working and makes a loud sound… the hotel is next to a field and last night half of the night there was a lot of noise and dust from a tractor… the huge AC units on the side of the hotel make a horrible noise…. It’s all inclusive but you have NOTHING (3 meals that shouldn’t be called food and some few drinks only between 20-22) and even for the gym YOU HAVE TO PAY. WOULD NOT come here again even if it would be free. 100% honest.

I wish somebody wrote a proper review and I would of change my mi d and never booked this hotel so. - this hotel is 1* and Thats me being generous - our toilet broke 2nd day and no plug for 1m long bath so had to bath my little boy in the sink - food? Kindergarten dinner’s food might taste better that this - first 2 days we were here with 100 young boys ( soccer team ) that took the whole pool area - staff is fantastic honestly not their fault - beach and pool, well you will be lucky to get a chair as it is crowded by locals ! - baby area ? Lol! 2 swings from Second World War! I am not a snob but I have traveled a little bit and this being put fort proper holiday after 6 years with a baby I would not send here my worse enemy. Hotel might have been thriving in the 60th and that’s where the hotel should stay. Beach is dirty and seat taken by locals having a smoke where my baby suppose to play? NO thank you So please take this review and book somewhere else.

I stayed at that hotel as part of an excursion taken from a travel agency. They told me and other guests, that there were only ''refurbished'' rooms available ,for which we paid an extra cost comparing to standard rooms. What we faced when we got into the rooms was an aged , or even abandoned room , with old furniture , problems with heating , flushing the toilet, electric plugs , TV sets not working , smell , bathrooms showing a 2-star hotel , balconies with rusty steels and cheap furniture, etc. The food was in average or below average level. The surrounding areas , used exclusively during summer, had not any care and maintenance at all. Even , the construction has to get some attention and repair. In general, the whole hotel needs a real renovation in all sectors to reach the 4-star standards . Till, then it remains well below those standards and does not worth the money someone pays to spend some time there. Considering the repeatedly similar reviews of guests in the past - same foundings since 2016, or earlier - it does not seem that there is such intention for the future.

Staff were friendly, room was dated and beds uncomfortable, after a few days room smelt of sewage. Outdoor pool was emptied of water, we were not informed prior to arrival. Restaurant closed in most evening, car park lighting off most of the time. You either need to take a 15 minute walk on roads and pathways in the dark to get to a restaurant or drive in the evenings.

The beach and water entrance full of rocks. The water in the pool not so clean. It is not All inclusive!!! Almost same food every day. Very dirty except the room. The rooms are clean, even if everything is very old and a lot of mold. The employees very old and not so responsive. You will have to pay even for bottled water No towel for beach/pool. You have to buy from shops outside hotel Fabulous view
