I choose the Marie Palace because of its close proximity to the port as I had an early ferry going to Kefalonia the next day. I didn't really bother looking into reviews or anything else and basically just booked blindly. I arrived to Patra by public bus (KTEL) late in the night and the hotel was less than 5 minutes walk away which was a relief as I was carrying quite a bit of luggage with me. Reception is 24hrs so there was a very nice man who greeted me upon my arrival. I asked about gyms that would be open and there are actually 2 right around the corner from the hotel which is great if you're the type that wants to get some excercise in. Opposite from the seaside a few streets up from the hotel is the center of town where you'll find many bars, coffee shops, places to eat and 24hr kiosk. I'm not sure if there is an extra charge for breakfast or if it was included but I was offered breakfast and even though I generally don't eat breakfast I had a look. Very nice breakfast and a nice sitting area to have it in too. The rooms were very clean and spacious enough with a television and fridge. Upon check out the lady in the morning was very nice and helpful. The ferry port for the Greek Ionian islands and for the Italian destinations are also less than a 5 minute walk away. Definitely going back to these Greek islands and when I do I'll definitely stay at the Hotel Marie Palace. Thank you all for a pleasant stay!

In pieno centro, letto comodo , stanza silenziosa. Buona la colazione. Note stonate: la finestra si affaccia su un palazzo diroccato, che sembra dover cadere da un momento all’altro. Il soffione della doccia era incrostato e sparava acqua in aria. In colazione mancava il pane fresco e un po’ di verdura. Niente parcheggio per la moto

Hôtel bien situé dans Patras, proche de la mer, un peu difficile de se garer pour déposer les bagages(deux ou trois places sont réservées mais pas toujours disponibles) mais il y a un parking gratuit sur une place un peu plus loin. L'accueil a été très bien, une des personnes parlait très bien le Français et était contente de pouvoir le parler. La chambre donnait sur l'arrière donc très au calme, un petit balcon nous permettait de voir le paysage (en partie gâché par un bâtiment à l'abandon). Le petit déjeuner est très correct.

Δεν είχανε δωμάτια κ μου δώσανε στον ημιόροφο ,με μόνωση μηδενική και σχεδόν να ακούγονται όλα από κατω,στην τιμή κιολας κανονικού δωματίου.Το δωμάτιο ήταν άθλιο και το στρωμα φανταρου και μύριζε μάλιστα κλεισούρα.Μονο η τοποθεσία του βόλευε.Δεν μπορεί να τιμολογεις το ίδιο ένα κανονικό δωμάτιο με μια Καρατζά στον ημιόροφο.Εστω αυτό...να ξέρει κ ο άλλος τι πληρώνει.
