A hotel of excellence in every sense. Wonderful attention and hospitality. The facilities are very comfortable and pleasant. All the staff without exception are very professional but above all very human, full of kindness and availability.

In all my years of travels this was the most ridiculous thing ever. Booked hotel room at Astir for 4 days back in Jan 2024. After a 4 hour drive from northern Greece, arrive at hotel and it's closed and under construction works. Hotel took the booking and payment and do you think there's any notification to advise what was happening. The most ridiculous thing I have ever encountered. So had to spend hours and drive 50klms away to find a suitable hotel.

Great location - at the harbour overlooking the sea, 5 minutes walk to the streets with shops, restaurants and bars. Choose the sea view room, it is definitely a good value for money - spacious balcony with nice panorama over the sea and harbour, a lot of space in the room. The hotel has been renovated but not entirely and especially in the lobby there is an unpleasant smell of old carpet, old furnitures. It seems it is a tourist group hotels, and it gets very busy and noisy at breakfast. The staff at reception were very efficient - smooth check-in and check-out.

Surely it should be a luxurius hotel a few decades ago but since then apparently not any renovation, even basic, has taken place. The airconditioner is amazingly noisy. The beds…. You do not dare moving. The positive is the location, the view of the front rooms and the roof garden which although old fashion has an incredible view and ambience.

Value for money θα έλεγα. Παλιό ξενοδοχείο. Το προσωπικό ευχάριστο και προσπαθεί για το καλύτερο. Τα δωμάτια θέλουν λίγο προσοχή.. κάτι μπριζες βαμενες λίγο η βρύση χρονών.. και δουλεμένη.. βέβαια σε εξαιρετικό σημείο το ξενοδοχείο.

Comfortable, clean and service is friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast. Central to town with a garage for the car. One of the main reasons we stayed here. If the bed mattresses were a bit more comfortable I may have added another star. I would definitely stay there again.
