The hotel accommodations are awesome. Beautiful views, great rooms, great food. Location is excellent. Hotel staff needs more training and experience. Most were trying to be helpful but just didn’t know much about the hotel, the local area or the services or operations of the hotel. Room service was not super knowledgeable about menu and forgot to bring all the condiments or come back for the cleaning. Bright spot was valet and Bellmen staff. Chris the Bellman was AWESOME! Very prompt and servant minded. Give this guy a raise! He made our experience because we have 4 kids (1 infant) and lots of stuff to move around. We will come back!

We spent a pleasant three days on the picturesque island of Patmos. The Effie Hotel, which is a family business, is located very close to the center and this gave us easy access to the center of Skala. I think that for the money for a hotel it does not correspond. Old hotel with Swedish furniture. The bathroom very small with a curtain that was short and all the water fell out when you took a bath to the point of flooding because the siphon was at a point where the water did not go. Aesthetically two identical frames in the room only. If I could say something positive it is the kindness and smile of the lady at the reception and that you could walk to the port everywhere. Breakfast nothing special.

Unacceptable behavior of owners. The toilet is small, where do you keep finding it .. in the morning?? Apotheosis. They have a cadre of die-hards and if you make the "mistake" of putting coffee or milk in another glass, they scold you. We pay you and we will drink the coffee wherever we want. We would never go there again.

The hotel is located 5 minutes from the port, quite good value for money. It was clean in general and the breakfast simple, but all fresh. The owner is quite kind. If I had to write something as a negative, it might be the wifi signal. We would choose it again!

Hôtel familial avec un personnel très accueillant, disponible et gentil. Les chambres sont correctes, on se sent à l'aise, bref comme chez soi, le stress en moins. Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique avec la possibilité de laisser nos voitures, nos scooters ou notre buggy dans le parking en plein centre ville.
