The Rooms look nothing like the advertised photos, After we checked in we found the room full of dust. The bathroom had cracked tiles, and a foul smell coming from the bathroom drainage. The staff DID NOT CLEAN the room or replace towels on 2 or 3 days out of an 8 day stay. When we brought this up with the Manager she claimed the room had been checked and all was ok, we complained twice during our stay. Even their cleaning was way below standard. I have seen better hygeine and facilities in a 1 star hotel in Moghadishu. The breakfast is also pathetic you can find a better experience at the local bars. Their hotel pricing does not justify the level of service, or lack of. Keep away

Nice quiet hotel located which is ideally situated within 500 metres of Skala centre. Hotel staff very friendly and caring. Clean rooms. Large breakfasting area which is situated beside the swimming pool. Something for every taste for breakfast. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Worst hotel ever !!! Stay away. Everything was either very old or broken. People were quite polite but even them claimed that the hotel needs to be demolished! Dirty, old, disgusting bathrooms, stained sheets, hair everywhere. Simple do not come.

The experience has been horrible. The institute of consumer and hygiene department should intervene ASAP! Having Travelled extensively, like all of us, you never expect to find a place so badly run. Especially in Patmos! Patmos is considered an exclusive and elegant destination therefore prices are up. Having paid 180 Euros per night for this establishment is a disgrace. The receptionist was not welcoming and was not happy that we asked for twin beds though on the website it clearly states that all rooms have twin beds unless the customer asks for a double bed. When the ladies working there heard that we’re not happy. None was talking Greek and they were very upset while talking to a foreign language. The rooms have not been renovated for decades and you can see as everything is falling apart, the small refrigerator was off and rusty. The cleaning was only for dust while on the bathrooms you could find hair everywhere. The bathroom was so old you didn’t want to enter. The ‘breakfast’ was a joke. Overall, the management should be ousted asap as it is a disgrace for Greece. If the price was 1/3 of what the charge fair enough people know what they get. For what we paid it is scandalous and I hope others join me in making these reviews. We have complaint numerous times, but to jo avail. When I asked for shower products on the first day I was told there must be there. I said I checked thats why I am asking. The reply was the women ‘cleaning’ the bedrooms do not speak English. The room cleaning policy is every 2 days and that means changing towels and adding products. That’s it. Nothing else. The whole thing was a comedy and you could only laugh at their responses. Moreover, they asked us to pay the tax when we arrived. Weird, right? The location is the only positive thing if you have to find one. Still in the middle of nowhere in Skala. 7-8 mins walk to Skala. Stay away!!!!

The outside area is very nice in particular in the night with lights and the pool. Is old hotel but the view and the distance between rooms is perfect for the privacy. The rooms are very big, with good mattresses and very big balcony. The personal are kind and available to resolve the problems soon as possible.

They should shut down this hotel and never allow them to open again. I booked my trip to Patmos including all non refundable flights and ferries and unfortunately booked Anamar as my hotel to stay in. 6 days before my trip to Patmos in the middle of August while I was at the airport flying to Athens, I receive an email from the hotel asking me to cancel my *********** reservation because they messed up their reservations and were overbooked. My room which I had booked months in advance was suddenly not available anymore. I lost all my flights and ferries to and from patmos (Via Kos) because of the incompetence of this so called hotel. They’ve refunded the room but what about my entire ruined vacation flights, ferries and new more expensive hotels? DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS HERE, THEY CANCEL THEM WITH NO REGARDS AND OFFER NO SOLUTIONS. BORDERLINE SCAM

Beautiful large room with sea view. Comfortable bed. The hotel is well located, close to the center and close to the small beach. Be careful if you have a heavy suitcase because there are a lot of stairs. Unfortunately very average breakfast. Swimming pool open only from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The hotel clearly needs good management.

We went to this hotel on the 3rd of August for 2 days, in terms of cleanliness we cannot have an opinion because we only stayed 2 days, the building is old the window did not close, the photos have nothing to do with the real image of the rooms, 5th hotel is neglected the bar the pool is closed, at breakfast there are options and Mrs. Mina at the resection is very kind and informative, it is not worth the money they ask for it is very expensive for what it provides.

We went with my family on July 21 with social tourism. The hotel was clean but not functional because it had a difference in levels and many stairs up and down. The spot was ideal close to everything. And now let's go to the pool. We never had a bath because it was flooded and they were fixing it. The issue was that they knew from the beginning that it would not be built and they should have told us. Having a 9 year old you understand how difficult it is to explain the obvious. And the breakfast.. American.. 😜There was someone who you told him what coffee you wanted and he only made Greek. And we were noticed that we ordered from outside. In the morning, jam, toast, butter and in the tsakir, cheese pie delight. The staff is nice but is that enough?
