每天進出酒店好比在開F1，酒店的服務態度還行，風景優美，可惜後面幾天酒店的電梯壞了，空手走走也無所謂，退房拿兩個大行李箱下5樓還是挺累的😅

The receptionist didn’t care when I informed him that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working for any of the guests. He told me I should “enjoy my vacation” and that I didn’t need Wi-Fi!

We feel very welcome by the stuff. room was clean. 5 minutes driving to the nearest ski area. Nice and quiet place.

The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away.

Le Fontenay is a long way up the mountain with no other bars or restaurants nearby. But the reception was good and food plentiful and a good standard. Rooms are small and some face the back, with a view only of nearby trees.

Good accommodation in a nice environment, it met our expectations. If someone is looking for accommodation at a good price near Chamonix, I recommend it. There are also nice hiking trails near the hotel that I can recommend.

We stayed for one night after driving down through France on a euro road trip and the road up to the property and the views are amazing. We had our pet dog with us and arranged the booking ahead to ensure no problems. The place was almost empty in early May so we didn’t really get a feel for the place as the bar, lounge and dining areas were empty. We did have a couple of beers and and burger and chips though and sat outside to eat so we could take in the mountain views. The girl on reception wasn’t the liveliest and if you don’t speak French you may have to improvise a little like I did! Overall a nice pit stop after a long drive and it’s all about the views really!!
