A big hotel! We were there out of season. But we were lucky with the weather. We got a big room, but at the end of the building and our 'supposedly' balcony consisted of two chairs on a dirty piece of concrete, behind the beach toilet. Since we stayed for 2 nights, we didn't complain. First they put two towels - we had to ask for the rest. The breakfasts are good, since there are a lot of package tourists, then having lunch in the restaurant for independent tourists is a whole adventure - a separate order confuses the staff and the wait is super long. We did not find any entertainment in the hotel in the evenings. And there is nothing in the area. There is 1 restaurant within walking distance (3+) and that's it. If we came here for more than a couple of nights, I would be upset - honestly. And we were by car, we could have driven ourselves at least to the supermarket. Do not get a hookah in the hotel - it is terrible.

The location is good, very nice swimming pool, garden and beautiful beach. The staff is very tired and most of the time forgets what they are asked. Everything is very slow, you have to have a lot of patience. If not, that's not too bad.

Magnificent sandy beach. There is a reef nearby where you can swim with a snorkel (it is better to negotiate with a separate service on the shore to the right. Good buffet dinners, I do not recommend a la carte. If you want more seafood - 10 minutes on foot cafe Captain. Of the minuses: 1. most important: urgently need to go to the beach more sun loungers. Well, not enough!!! You have to borrow, well, what a nonsense. A huge beach, a lot of places, a lot of palm trees, under which you can lie down, but not on anything. 2. Breakfast is rather weak, but you won’t leave hungry. In my opinion, not corresponds to the price 3. Far from everything, well, there is nothing at all, knock-knock to help 4. The staff sometimes, let's say, slow down, but they try.

This is my first time in pasikuda. Hotel is so beautiful and the staff is so helpful. Tasty Food. Room is so comfortable and we had a wonderful time at Calm Resorts.

The experience at this hotel was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind, rooms very beautiful and clean, the atmosphere relaxing. Everything was perfect! Also a mention to the girls of the spa, professional and gentle. They gave me the best massage of my life! A big thanks to all!

We‘ve been traveling Sri Lanka for two weeks so far and are already very spoilt by Sri Lankan politeness and care. Also here at The Calm all the staff are incredibly helpful, thoughtful and polite. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and provide for everything you might need. The beach view is stunning as is the pool and beach area, and the pool bar. Make sure to enjoy one of the massages at the Spa. I have had the best foot reflexology I can imagine. Dhanushka did magic with her hands!

The resort in itself was great with good beach nearby, great pool overlooking the sea and good friendly staff and service. Special mention to Karthy at front desk who took care of us. Special mention to Sachin and F&B manager (name missed - starting with P) at the restaurant. Front desk services were good and helpful in booking for snorkeling trip too. However I would advise anyone to book their "Premium" rooms. That was the disappointing part of the stay. The rooms look into nothing. Like really nothing. There are large trees in front of the balcony. So if you like a view in your room - dont book. Also I'd say housekeeping was lazy in this hotel - we called twice for towels but to no avail. Assuming it was a one off issue.
