AC Hotel Pasadena

I had a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel in Pasadena. Ernesto and his team were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. I’m excited to recommend this hotel to friends and family—and I can’t wait to return!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Ernesto & his team were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, their hospitality stood out. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed for a great stay. Service overall was top-notch, and I truly felt like a valued guest. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—happy to return and highly recommend this hotel to others!

My wife and I recently stayed at the AC Hotel Pasadena while visiting my brother, and we had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff, particularly a gentleman named Enrtsano (apologies if I’ve misspelled his name), was exceptional—very kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. While the stay was overall very enjoyable, I did notice that communication between the front desk and housekeeping could be improved for a more seamless experience. That said, this is a beautiful, brand-new hotel—open for less than a month—and it shows. The rooms are quiet, modern, and impeccably clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

As an ambassador member of Bonvoy- I can honestly say that this property is absolutely amazing!!! The entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. All were friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs. Further, the property is brand new and has both modern decor and amenities. Special thanks to Anthony and Bree for being super kind. We stayed for one night at the brand-new AC Hotel in Pasadena, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel is less than a month old, and everything still has that fresh, spotless feel. Our room was immaculate—modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. As Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members, we received excellent recognition and truly felt appreciated. Valet parking was smooth and hassle-free, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of downtown Pasadena, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Perfect for both business and leisure travelers. A huge shoutout to Ernesto and Josea for their top-notch service! They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here the third weekend in April to attend a concert at the Rose Bowl. Overall I was happy with the stay and would return. The rooftop bar is still under construction and looks like it’s going to be a great area (there is already a fountain and some lounges to sit on). There’s a nice patio at the lobby level with seating areas too. We had a delicious breakfast both days across the street at Urth Cafe. Here are our overall observations: Pros: - Great location on the corner of Colorado and Madison, meaning we could walk most places (including the Rose Bowl shuttle stop at the Parsons building). Plenty of restaurants close by. - The rooms were clean and comfortable. Ours was 6th floor at the end of the hall (648, corner) facing the back of the hotel and was nice and quiet - The bed was firm but not hard and pillows were great (I’m picky, like Goldilocks!) - The lobby bar staff were friendly and provided great service. Especially JoAnne. There was also live music both nights, and the small plates we ordered were good. We sat out on the nice patio. - The lobby smells amazing every time you walk in! Cons: - Our room wasn’t ready Friday at checkin so they asked us to wait in the lounge area for about 20 mins and they’d come & get us. An hour later, after we’d had a drink and snack, still nothing. I asked up at the front desk and was told they got busy and forgot to let us know our room was ready. On Sun early morning I asked if we could have a late checkout to compensate and they gave us an extra hour. - Not a big deal, but we weren’t greeted as Bonvoy members. - As another reviewer mentioned, the Colorado street entrance brings you in to the guest elevators with no room key required. Overall a nice, clean and comfortable hotel in a great location.
