S0 easy! We really enjoyed staying here where you could hear birds singing, look out at the rice fields, take a walk down a country road.....ok, and you might hear/see a plane taking off now and then! Bongde Goma Resort is a great concept, giving training in the hotel and restaurant world to aspiring young adults. Every adult we met was polite, sweet and very eager to please. Rooms have what you need, a few toiletries as well and I noticed one worker delivering a hair dryer to a guest. Food was very good and the service and presentation is top. Students were a little hesitant at times, like in pouring drinks, but they’ll get the hang of it. Dinners always had a starter, a soup, main entree with veggies and a starch and a dessert. We hadn’t had a real dessert in either Bhutan or Nepal so this was a treat and boy were they good! My only comment against the food was the slow cooked beef we had one evening. I really wasn’t expecting such a big serving of beef after having so much veggies throughout our trip. It was a little heavy in the stomach. We were given a breakfast to go and wow!! What a sandwich! First, it was on a healthy wheat bread that was excellent, especially after seeing simple white bread forever. Roasted chicken, tomato, red onion and lettuce! Yum! We had requested a piece of fruit to make things easy but we were given a delicious fruit salad! It is a bit of a drive to the main section of Paro but we avoided it and were very content to stay in the country!
