The hotel was not soundproof..doors slammed consistently we were on top floor and could here people talking in parking lot 3 floors down..the FULL breakfast was actually a continental breakfast with eggs but no bacon,sausages or hashbrowns so maybe I’m not clear on what a FULL breakfast is but I’m sure it wasn’t this..room seemed quite dated and a bit beat up with a fresh coat of paint and bed was too firm

I stayed for 2 nights and founds the staff and mgmt extremely friendly and accommodating especially since I was going through a difficult time. The bed, sheets pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast had yohurt and scrambled eggs that were gluten free. It felt like a piece of heaven which I desperatetly needed. I was there in May and the rate was $184.00 a night including tax.

Great for a short stay: plenty of free parking and centrally located so you can walk to the beach/boardwalk in 20 minutes or restaurants along the main road. The hotel is renovated but not high end or well-done in places (at least in my room) but it has free, reliable wifi, and an exercise room and pool, which I didn't use. The complimentary breakfast is unlike the other BWs, only because it offers eggs as its main hot protein instead of eggs AND bacon or sausage, etc., and that can be quite disappointing to members who are used to this standard. The hotel is clean, staff are nice, rooms have fridge and microwaves, and amenities are nearby (grocery stores are 5 mins drive away). Air con in room but windows also open. Could be noisy in high season since close to the main road. Good value.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very clean, centrally located and friendly staff. Will definitely come back again. Totally awesome hotel. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay around Parksville. The hotel is very well maintained and well worth the stay.

Our hockey team enjoyed this friendly, clean space for our tournament. Location was great! Mini golf and beach across the street. We appreciated the staff making sure quiet hours were respected as it was loud sometimes with kids running around. Pool was a hit! Adults and kids all enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel has just completed a refresh and they have done a great job. Breakfast was impressive and fresh. The hotel were fantastic and well located near the center of Parksville!! Also our granddaughter loved visiting to use the pool and hot tub.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our way up Island on a week long trip. Had our 2 small dogs. We were so pleasantly surprised as we had read some bad reviews after booking. Possibly we stayed after a renovation. Dont know, but our room was spacious, bright and had very comfy beds and pillows, a little frig, micro and Kuerig. Nice big towels..(a MUST at a hotel at this price) everything very clean. A GREAT shower! Continental breakfast. I loved no carpets, having dogs, though they are well trained, but you never know. If I have and complaint it would be the lighting, which is recessed. No way to choose to light the beds only for reading and the bedside lamp is useless for that purpose. We love Parksville and would stay again, and would recommend.

A great place to stay! Clean, quiet, a great breakfast.It was a wonderful central location close to the beach and mini golf. etc.We didn't have our cat with us but one of the staff mentioned that a few rooms were pet friendly!
