JJesustongzOffers a comfortable stay in the heart of Udon Thani. The location is ideal, just a short walk from UD Town. Rooms are well-maintained, and the staff provides attentive service. The quiet atmosphere and nice pool make it a great spot to unwind.
WWee KiatI had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, making check-in a breeze. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered an amazing view. Housekeeping did an exceptional job each day, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the room, from complimentary water to quality toiletries. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the in-room amenities exceeded my expectations. The hotel’s location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. I loved the peaceful atmosphere and the relaxing ambiance throughout the property. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options, and the dining area was always clean and well-organized.
MMommy_knightBooked this for my husband's parents and it was excellent. Its central location, surrounded by eateries, makes it incredibly convenient to explore on foot. The staff are consistently wonderful on every visit. My parents always have high praise for this place. The room was true to the photos and impeccably clean. Thank you!
NNoLimI’ve always stayed at Centara Udon whenever I visited Udon Thani, but this time, I decided to try something different and booked Clay Udon.
The street outside was quiet at night, unlike the livelier surroundings of Centara. Which, on some nights, I could still hear music from nearby pubs until around 3 a.m.
The room door at Clay Udon might need better soundproofing — on my last night, I could even hear my neighbour snoring!
Thankfully, I always pack earplugs, so overall, the stay was still comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. I wouldn’t mind staying here again, especially since it’s slightly more affordable than Centara.
TTravelingMulberryI still like this hotel, I wish they'd invest a little money to buy new towels and pillows though, they are just old and smelly. Other than that, a great team and a great location at a reasonable price
PPimodismimigirlI stayed at this hotel for a short trip and found the location to be very convenient. It’s within walking distance to the bus terminal and Central shopping mall, which made getting around super easy. The hotel also has good parking space, which is a plus for those traveling by car.
The room was clean and tidy, but there were a few downsides. There’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it might be a bit of a hassle. The amenities provided were very minimal — just two bottles of water and two small bars of soap. There was no tissue paper in the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient.
One thing to note is that when you check in, you need to leave a 100 baht cash deposit for the key. You’ll get it back when you check out, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The staff didn’t seem to speak much English and weren’t particularly friendly, which made communication a little difficult.
Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, but the lack of basic amenities and service left something to be desired.
AAFrankThis is a really nice hotel. The price is amazing. The shower was so powerful. I loved it. The room was clean, the mattress was soft. I would definitely stay here again. One thing to note, the lobby was a little messy. But you don’t spend any time in the lobby. I think this was a great deal.
