Outstanding
AAnonymous UserFor students or budget travelers, I recommend Friends Oasis hostel. The owner has traveled to China (Chengdu, Xiamen, Xi'an, etc.) since 2024, is very friendly, and importantly, he has WeChat for communication.
Booking through Ctrip costs 85 RMB with a guarantee, then pay 8.5 JD upon arrival.
Unfortunately, he can't accept VISA for the next two weeks; he's changing banks.
Of course, you can negotiate with him; he'll charge based on his mood.
Newly opened in Aqaba in 2023. Has a kitchen and separate male and female restrooms.
Free water, free tea, and free coffee.
Very convenient transportation: 15-minute walk to Jett (a local minibus service) every morning at 8 am.
10-minute walk to the local minibus station.
Two money exchange centers within 50 meters. Exchange rates are roughly the same.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel close to the city center but there is not much to do there.
The hotel is a haven of peace where you are cut off from the world, you dress as you wish which is not necessarily the case outside.
The private beach is small, too bad we can't access the other hotels (walls delimit the hotels)
Small swimming area due to all boats passing nearby.
For a 5* the curtains with holes are average.
Otherwise everything else is great.
The breakfast buffet is huge and varied. The restaurants, on the other hand, are expensive and not great compared to the quality in the city center. They should have created a self-catering restaurant like in the morning.
WWorld Solo TravelerEverything was good and ok except that when I arrived to the hotel around 10:00 pm no body was there I had to go next door to the pharmacy to ask if the reception was open or if I had to call someone to check in , the pharmacy employee had to go inside the hotels office to find someone after 15 minutes someone came in
AArtemThe hotel is generally excellent, but a little tired. It is worth considering: in winter the swimming pools are open until sunset, there is an indoor jacuzzi and baths (separate for men and women; open until 23:00). You can bring one bottle of alcohol and sealed grocery items into the hotel. You cannot bring food from restaurants outside the hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is sweet and tidy and respected staff
To be honest, the first thing that came in was the towels and the beds had hair.
And the piano in the bathroom isn't added to it.
We told them, they immediately cleaned everything.
GGuest UserThe Bedouin Garden Village is about 15 minutes drive from Aqaba, close to the Berenice Beach Club. The sea and beach are only 150 meters away. In the nearest area you will find a few more Guesthouses with restaurants and a restaurant/a bathroom on the beach. The beach itself has free sunscreens.
The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere in the Garden Village is very quiet and relaxed. The atmosphere offers many shaded places that invite to stay and relax in the shadow, but partly you could wash or clean the bedouin seats. It was not dirty, but also not 100% clean.
The Bedouin Garden Village is a diving school with friendly, fun, but also competent staff and good equipment. The diving courses were very relaxed and yet interesting, even for experienced dives.
The breakfast was unfortunately relatively simple: there were fladbread, fresh cheeses (however they were long in the heat), marmelade and a table with hummus, eggs, beans, some fruit and some vegetables. It was still sad. The lunch and evening card is not too extensive: there is a lot of frozen (fish, hamburger, calamari), a few salads and a few chicken courts. We can't get sad, it doesn't taste badly, but not particularly ”wow” - given the distant location, the choice of restaurants on the ground is limited.
The rooms were simple but still functionally furnished with air conditioning and refrigerator.
All in all a great accommodation to turn off for a few days in a quiet environment.
AAnonymous UserHotel location is very good, in the downtown business district, but some rooms are close to the road, the sound insulation is not very good. The quality of sleep at night is relatively poor, the hotel hot water is not too hot, and. Breakfast is too simple, basically nothing delicious.
JJehad HamadLocation is good, need a little attention from management for house keeping full cleaning services, relayed notice to management for future attention.
Over all good hotel .
