Amazing
GGuest UserVery satisfied. I want to stay in a fairytale town. It is quiet and beautiful. There is no food around. You can only eat in the hotel. But it is very good. Very British. The room is large and very quiet. Highly recommended.
MMarie Francois LouisMy wife and I stayed overnight at Lucy’s Tearoom on 27th June. The welcome was excellent and the room and ensuite were immaculately clean. We had a comfortable sleep with a copious breakfast in the morning. The B&B has no parking facilities but our arrival and departure times suited the parking allowance in the Square/ 2 hrs free parking between 0900-1800h. Had we spent longer we would have had to find other parking facilities.
GGuest UserVery good location in the town, just near the model village, hotel guest can get free tickets for the village.
Breakfast is great.
Staff are quite friendly and nice.
Car parking made a few confused, carpark is very limited at daytime, and you need to pay for carpark for hole day because car park is operated by the same company.
A lot of cute bees flying around the hotel, some will fly into the room, you may need to shut the window…hah!
DDavid WachendorferMansley refers to their properties as ”managed apartments”. There is no on site staff, you check in online and get a single code that gets you into the building, your room, and the parking. They are very attentive during the stay to make sure you know that if you need anything they are a phone call away. I absolutely love this concept! The property itself appears to have been recently renovated and in immaculate condition. The room was stunning. You walk into a living room area with kitchen with soaring 2 story ceilings. The bedroom is an upstairs loft with king size bed. Towels, linens, mattress, coffee service, etc. are all top of the line. The location can't be beat. Right in the heart of town center with everything you could possible need a short walk away. They have a secure parking lot right next to the property as well. I have stayed at all of the trendy hotels in Cheltenham. This is by far my favorite. Won't stay anywhere else when in Cheltenham. Can't wait to try another Mansley property.
GGuest UserThe room has an old house smell that is unbearable. The small air conditioner installed has a very dirty filter and I dare not turn it on.
The front desk staff is not always there, and there is a queue for check-in
The environment outside is very beautiful
GGuest UserGreat location Parking at rear of hotel although not obvious where access to car park is. Lovely cosy and clean room. Grady value for money. Only criticism is there was a very limited menu choice. Lovely breakfast great quality
Can’t fault the service and friendliness of the staff. Will book again but probably eat somewhere else due to limited choice
__WeChat230443****The room is not big, but the service staff is very friendly. The lights are very warm and the bed is very comfortable. It is close to CLC school and just opposite. It is a good place to stay with your children. It is also very close to the store square. It is 20 minutes walk from the cheltenham SPA. Minutes to the hotel.
GGuest UserHad a fantastic one night stay at The George last night. Our room was spotless and full of character. So nice to stay somewhere away from the big chains. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and super helpful - we didn’t get to meet Autumn, the resident dog, but hope to on our next stay. We’ll definitely be back! The Limoncello was also a big plus - amazing stuff!
朱朱Location is good, very close to the town centre. The English Manor Hotel is very welcoming and comfortable, with a large lawn and wide view. The hotel not only has English billiards, but also a Michelin restaurant, which is very delicious. The rooms are large and tidy, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious, and the garden is full of flowers. The most recommended is the hotel's own wine, which is very delicious and sweet and sour.
GGuest UserFrom outside looked scruffy and uncared for inside was fine althoug8evening meal was
a little fragmented and confusing not helped by one of the group moving the nameplaces around
Some guests tried it on complaining their food was inadequate but in fact most of us found the food was really nice and to top it top it all we all got a substantial reduction in price. The management redeemed themselves entirely. Would I stay again, yes we would as we think it is a work in progress.
