"Unlimited bottled water and airport transfers are provided. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Dinner was probably takeout, and the taste was average. The rooftop terrace is particularly nice, perfect for breakfast or enjoying the night view of the Pyramids, even catching the fireworks. The staff were all warm and friendly, especially the manager, Ayman, who arranged to buy medicine for a nasal rhinitis caused by the renovations and provided hot drinks, a common Egyptian cold drink. It felt like he went to great lengths to address the various room amenities. We booked two rooms, and the rooms had a strong renovation odor. Facing the street, the windows lacked soundproofing, and there was constant traffic noise all night. The faucet water had a strong disinfectant smell. The toilet seat was attached to two bolts and was loose and unsecured. The room was clean, but the towels and bath towels felt unclean. The most bizarre thing was that the handheld showerhead was located next to the switch, requiring one-handed handling. The shower screen was only one-third the width, and the water was so thin and powerful that no matter how careful you were, a shower would spray almost all over the bathroom."
