"Super location and very nice staff. We ordered an airport pickup to the hotel with the trip app and our driver contacted the hotel to let them know when we arrived so that a staff member could pick us up by the road. Super cozy streets around the hotel.
My room was very spacious and clean.
The breakfast was very good, noodles and dumplings. On our second day we asked the staff to recommend a driver to take us to different hot spots and we got a very nice driver at an affordable price. Will definitely stay here again."

"The front desk ladies were very helpful and friendly. Two thumbs up. The carpet in the hallways was a bit old and hard to keep it pristine under the hot and moist climate. But once you were in the room it was another story. Beds were nice and soft and clean and bathroom was clean and tidy. Breakfast was buffet style and good. The hotel is not too far from the Old Street area. However you still need to call Didi and it costs you little. The last point is the hotel price was very inexpensive. It gives you a very good value for your money. So if you are looking for a good hotel to sleep with budget in mind, this is the one. There are restaurants near the hotel. I will book this hotel again if I am in the area. Thank you to the front desk staffs."

"This hotel is centrally located on the Xin'an River, very close to Tunxi Old Street, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. It's just a 3-minute drive from the highway exit. The room I stayed in was very comfortable, well-equipped, neat, and clean, with satisfactory soundproofing. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and the dining environment was pleasant. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic, had an excellent attitude, and were quick to respond. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I'll definitely choose Crowne Plaza again next time I visit Huangshan. Highly recommended, it's absolutely great value for money!"

We booked two nights with a gap in between as we have a night at HuangShan.
The host allowed us to keep everything in the same room until we return.
The Cottage is 5 min walk to the HuangShan South Gate Bus station. Good location.
The room is clean, cozy and quiet. Separated bathroom and toilet bowl with electronic toilet seat.
We have ala carte dinner in the “cottage” .
The food was amazing, very delicious.
We ordered beef and potato stir fry, Qianye Tofu
and fried local veggies. Highly recommended.
It is more suitable for Malaysia or Singapore tastebuds, not salty or oily but flavourful.
It was served in good portions with reasonable price.
Lastly, thank you the host for the car arrangement to Huang Shan North station. It is almost the same price as compare to the public transport with comfortable seat."

"The room is adequate for solo travelers although the bathroom photos were not as shown in the gallery as they appeared to be older than it looks. Hence if you are looking for good furnishing, you may want to look for other hotels. This hotel is near to Tunxi Old Street and Liyang Old Street. The staff are friendly and helpful when informed of missing housekeeping items. They can also help to book short tour for you and the tour bus will pick you along the main road."

"The hotel is incredibly close to Huangshan North Railway Station, and their shuttle service was very convenient. We only stayed one night as a stopover for a connecting train, hoping to avoid an early start the next morning.
We booked two rooms. My parents' king-sized room was tiny, and our family room was stiflingly hot. The air conditioning would automatically shut off whenever we left the room, so each time we returned, it was over 30 degrees Celsius – uncomfortably warm. The family room also featured a sofa bed, which wasn't comfortable for the child, and they only provided adult pillows with no child-friendly options.
There's absolutely nothing around the hotel. The hotel's ground-floor restaurant only offered set menus, and none of them appealed to me, so we ended up taking a taxi seven kilometers to find a place to eat.
Overall, it's inconvenient for both dining and shopping. While it might be acceptable if you're merely catching a train, I wouldn't recommend it for a Huangshan tour due to the very inconvenient transportation options.
In contrast, the Parkview International Hotel we stayed at initially was excellent. The rooms were spacious, the service was great, and as Ctrip Diamond members, we received complimentary fruit, snacks, and milk daily."

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!
The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains!
He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out.
We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

GGuest UserMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge.
The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day.
The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night.
The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre.
In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family.
I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language.
I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

After a flawless experience at the Tunxi Old Street branch the day before, I unhesitatingly chose this hidden gem in Tangkou Town at the foot of Huangshan. And it certainly didn't disappoint; the service standards of this chain brand were as excellent as ever!
Super convenient location: The hotel is very close to the transfer center and offers a free shuttle service, which was incredibly important for us as we were rushing to the mountain early in the morning!
Incredibly thoughtful service: We arrived at 6:30 AM, not expecting to be able to check in. But the hotel not only safely stored our luggage but also provided a complimentary, delicious breakfast! There was a wide variety of breakfast options, all tasting great, allowing us to eat our fill and power up for our mountain climb. What was most touching was that we bought raincoats at the hotel but didn't open them. After coming down the mountain, the front desk attendant proactively helped us exchange them for drinks and snacks. This kind of flexible responsiveness definitely deserves praise!
New and practical facilities: The hotel opened in 2024, and the overall environment is clean and tidy. Although the pool is slightly less impressive than the one at the Tunxi Old Street branch, it doesn't affect the stay experience at all. GGuest UserTo all fellow hikers heading to Huangshan, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the South Gate. Its location is incredibly convenient: Wenkouling Station is right outside the door, so even if you miss the last cable car down, a bus from the mountain base will drop you directly at the hotel entrance. After a strenuous descent, the hotel provides dining options where guests can enjoy a discount. And if you're too exhausted, there's an affordable massage service nearby. A handy tip: you can buy a walking stick from the supermarket next door for just 3 RMB, and it can be exchanged for a bottle of water after your hike! Ordering food delivery is super easy as well; you won't need to go downstairs to collect it because a robot delivers it directly to your room!

GGuest UserThis trip to Huangshan, staying at Banyan Tree Huangshan was absolutely the right decision! The hotel, nestled at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, features elegantly designed Huizhou-style architecture that seamlessly blends with the surrounding landscape. Every photo taken looks like an ink wash painting.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the scenic balcony offered breathtaking views of the undulating mountains in the distance, often shrouded in mist. As the first rays of morning sun streamed in, my mind and body felt instantly soothed. The soft bedding and aromatherapy ensured a perfect night's sleep.
Felix's service, in particular, was impeccable. From his attentive guidance during check-in at the front desk to his prompt responses after we had settled in, he was both warm and professional.

GGuest UserThe accommodation has a free shuttle to/from the station, definitely a plus! It's only a 10 minute walk, but 10 minutes with heavy luggage is something you could miss. It’s a bit inconvenient that you have to call them to actually book the shuttle, because I don’t speak Mandarin and they don’t speak English, so a call would not be possible, but maybe that’s something that Trip could improve on. When I checked out, the lady told me (through a translation app) that she could drop me off at the station, which I was very happy about.
When I checked in, I got a room upgrade as well. I was alone so I didn’t really need two beds, but the the huge room was very nice after all those bunk beds in hostels! They also offer a carpooling service to the ticket office/entrance of Huangshan for a good price! Just tell them the night before that you’d like to go to Huangshan and they will arrange a shuttle for you (mine was at 7 am in the morning and I just had to message them when I wanted to go back to the hotel in the evening).
They can offer sightseeing tips, they can recommend you something to eat. Just ask and they will help you. Sometimes it was just a bit hard to communicate, the woman uses a translation app which works just fine, but the man doesn’t, he tries to explain everything in Mandarin by using gestures, writing it down in Mandarin … but then it’s obviously not easy to understand each other. That aside, they’re both so sweet and helpful. I would stay there again, if I ever come back!
Side note, Trip does not give you the correct address of the hotel (in English). Whichever map app I used, it would send me to an open space in the street of the hotel. The hotel is actually located just a bit further next to a (very good!) restaurant, but just ask someone in the street and they will bring you to the reception of the hotel, if you can’t find it. 😉

The owner upgraded me to a moon-viewing room for free. The scenery was really great. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. I was very satisfied with the dinner order. Every dish was delicious. Eight dishes + a few bottles of beer and drinks cost about 60 to 70 yuan per person. I recommend everyone to come. Attached is a picture of the scenery seen from the floor-to-ceiling window in the morning.
