"This property is very well maintained and rooms are clean, and very well-appointed with the needed comforts. We truly applaud the attention-to-detail and effort that the husband-and-wife owners have put into this bed-and-breakfast property. We arrived as it started to get colder and truly appreciated the warm heating in the rooms. Fantastic warm showers. An amazing bonus amenity was the electric toilets! We are also thankful to the lady boss for highlighting the first Huangshan Peak snow-fall on our last day of stay! Upon her encouragement we decided an impromptu climb up Huangshan a second time. We were glad we did! The snow scenery at Huangshan peak was AMAZING. THANK YOU!"

"It's a village with a lot of feel and a B&B with a lot of atmosphere. There aren't many old houses in the village, but it's super impressive. I booked a special room. The housekeeper upgraded me to a loft. The room is not big. The bedroom is upstairs and there is a sofa and coffee table downstairs. You can watch TV and rest without disturbing each other. I like it very much. The bedding is also very clean. It is a great value for having such conditions in the village. . The uncle who picked up our luggage was very enthusiastic. He was an elder in the village. He drove a tricycle to pick us up. It was a pleasant surprise. He also gave us good travel advice. Everyone we met in Xixinan was as friendly as family, friends and elders. , the food was also delicious. I was too hungry and didn’t have time to take pictures. I emptied everything. I’ll stay at your place next time I come."

"Super location and very nice staff. We ordered an airport pickup to the hotel with the trip app and our driver contacted the hotel to let them know when we arrived so that a staff member could pick us up by the road. Super cozy streets around the hotel.
My room was very spacious and clean.
The breakfast was very good, noodles and dumplings. On our second day we asked the staff to recommend a driver to take us to different hot spots and we got a very nice driver at an affordable price. Will definitely stay here again."

"This is near the north gate of Taishan Mountain. It was off-season when I came. On weekdays, there were no people. We drove in by ourselves. There were more paths. The whole environment was more original. It was suitable for tourists who didn’t like excessive commercial development. The whole was relatively clean. Although there were no shops open at that time, But I found a small restaurant that tastes very good! The proprietress has a very good service attitude and is very enthusiastic. She also picks you up for dinner and sends souvenir tea before leaving. Thank you very much."

"A very cozy hotel with a warm, home-like atmosphere. The view from the window is just like a postcard — absolutely breathtaking.
The location is great — only a 10-minute easy walk to the shuttle stop that takes you to the mountains.
The hotel owner is incredibly friendly and kind. Upon arrival, he upgraded me to a more spacious and comfortable room at no extra charge.
He also helped me plan the best route based on my available time and the weather conditions, and shared many interesting stories about the local history.
The rooms are clean and well-equipped (hairdryer, air conditioning, toiletries).
I had read in previous reviews about weak water pressure and unstable temperature, but everything worked perfectly for me. My room had a shower and a small bathtub.
There’s also an option to order food to the hotel, but I chose to have dinner in different spots around town — there are plenty of cafes nearby, as well as pharmacies and supermarkets.
At the end of my stay, the hotel owner arranged a transfer to the station for me, which cost five times less than a regular taxi ride.
Even after I returned home, he reached out to check if I got back safely and if everything was alright.
I’m very happy with the hotel and the quality of service.

"The location is superb, right inside Tunxi Old Street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The rooms are quite spacious, especially the bathrooms, which are large and very comfortable to use. It's spotlessly clean and offers fantastic value for money. They even offered complimentary handmade ice jelly and provided a dedicated pick-up service from the station. Parking was also convenient. The staff were warm and welcoming, providing attentive service. In particular, the front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, offering detailed reminders and showing genuine care."

We were not too sure what to expect from our first China trip so it was with much relief to receive such warm welcome and care when we reach our accomodation in Tunxi.
Not only is our hotel a beautifully well-kept centuries-old heritage building, the service rendered by the staff was the highlight of our trip.
They made special arrangements for us to have our breakfast (and it was a awesome breakfast too!) earlier as we were trying to reach Huangshan as early as possible. On our way back, we decided to stay one more night here as my friend was unwell. It felt like we were coming home, when we reached the hotel the second time. The staff even helped us to find a drugstore for us to buy some medicine to treat the stomach upset. My friend was really grateful for help rendered.

"Our trip had two main destinations: Huangshan Mountain and Hongcun Village. On the afternoon of the 17th, we arrived at Huangshan North by bullet train, picked up our pre-booked rental car, and headed straight for Crowne Plaza Yu City. We were assisted by Manager Zhang, who was incredibly patient and attentive. The room he arranged for us was spotless, and my family was very pleased with it. Since Huangshan Mountain was still 50 kilometers away, we went to bed early on the evening of the 17th. On the 18th, we woke up at 6:30 AM, had the buffet breakfast at the hotel, and immediately drove to the Huangshan Scenic Area. We arrived at the scenic area at 8 AM, took a shuttle bus to Yuping Cableway, and ascended the mountain. We visited famous spots like the Greeting Pine, Bright Summit, and Monkey Gazing at the Sea. By the time we descended via Yun'gu Cableway, it was already 1 PM, after which we drove to Hongcun Village. We returned to the hotel at 6:30 PM. After a short rest, we had the buffet dinner at the hotel. While it was a bit on the pricier side for me, the spread was incredibly rich and offered excellent value for money."

"It's rare for B&Bs to have underground parking, but this one does, complete with an elevator directly to the ground floor lobby for check-in – a real hotel-like convenience. This also means your car stays cool, even on scorching summer days. The B&B itself is spotless, and all common areas are comfortably air-conditioned. The staff, from the front desk and the proprietress to the restaurant servers, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even thoughtfully brought out mosquito repellent when they saw us sitting outside – a very nice touch. The laundry room is accessible until 9 PM, and they even offer a fantastic service where staff will wash, dry, fold, and deliver your clothes back to your room. Truly exceptional service!
They provide an electric shuttle service to Xixinan; you just need to call 5 minutes before you want to be picked up. The scenic area isn't large but wonderfully uncommercialized, filled with charming local shops. The fish lantern display at night was vibrant and festive, just like celebrating Chinese New Year! The locals were so warm and down-to-earth, even spontaneously lighting off fireworks.
Right outside the B&B, there's a small stream where you can fish. In the evenings, they even have a live singer – apparently, it's the only B&B in the area with live music! The ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served in a 'Jiugongge' (nine-grid platter) style, which was more than enough. The baozi (steamed buns) and wontons were freshly made, and you could always ask for more staple foods if you needed. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. So considerate!"

Environment: Surrounded by mountains and water, although it is on the roadside, it is very quiet to sleep and not noisy at all.
Service: The boss's service is very good. He provides free pick-up and drop-off at the scenic spot station and free drop-off at the town. He enthusiastically and carefully explains the Huangshan tour route and makes suggestions. With the boss's suggestions, we successfully visited the scenic spot during off-peak hours. Thank you very much.

There is no elevator in the B&B. The owner is very enthusiastic to help us move our luggage. The service is super good!
The owner is very nice. The driver of the carpool from Hongcun to Tangkou did not send us to the door of the B&B. The owner came to pick us up. He also sent us to the entrance of Huangshan at 5 o'clock the next day. The boss really worked hard. The driver from Huangshan to the high-speed rail station was also contacted by the boss. He is really responsible

GGuest UserHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

The guesthouse location is fantastic, being very close to the entrance of the Huangshan scenic area, which made early morning departures incredibly convenient. The owner even provided hiking poles, truly showcasing their meticulous and thoughtful service!

We chose the Qingyin Caolu B&B, which is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It only takes 2 minutes to walk into the alley from the big tree at the entrance of the village. My kid and I stayed in Yuese Xishi room, which had a big bed and a big window. The weather was fine and the view from the window was stunning.

GGuest UserThis stay really exceeded my expectations! I booked this place after seeing the recommendation in a book before the holiday. Through communication, I felt that the boss was very nice. He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

GGuest UserLocation = Great location. It is at Tangkouzhen. The hotel itself has a restaurant within its premise. There are mini markets nearby for you to stock up on snacks and other food stuff and beverage. It is about 30 minutes bus ride to Huangshan.
Cleanliness = Excellent. Everything is in order. It has a smart system where the drapes are opened and shut with a touch of a button. The rooms are spacious and everything you need in a room is there and there was not once we need to call the helpdesk. Service = Excellent. There is a manager who is very hospitable that gave us a lot of information on the food and weather and the preparation for the Huangshan trip. There is also a tour agent who helped to arrange for the transportation to and from Huangshan which is also very helpful and patient. Facilities = Excellent. There is a laundry room with dryer without additional charge. There is a massage service available in case you need it after Huangshan hike. The restaurant's food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful in helping us to book the transport to Tunxi and back. There were 5 of us so, if we used the taxi we would need to book 2 but they suggested and helped us to get a 7-seater. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here.

GGuest UserThe facilities and equipment are very professional and easy to use. The air conditioner has a very remarkable heating and cooling effect, and the hot water supply is also excellent. The white architectural style is particularly outstanding, giving people a great feeling. The food ordered from the kitchen is also very delicious.
The service is also excellent. They can drop you off at the South Gate Transfer Center both when going up and down Huangshan Mountain. The staff are enthusiastic and polite. They will help me handle any requests I have. I'm really grateful. The hygiene is very clean without any corners overlooked. The sofa and sheets are spotless. I had a great time staying here. It was a very satisfying trip.
