"It's really wise to choose the all-season hotel for this trip! As soon as I entered the lobby, the simple and atmospheric decoration style made people feel good, and the air was still filled with a faint fresh Zen tea fragrance, which instantly dispersed the fatigue of the journey.
The front desk staff was warm and efficient, the check-in was fast, and the hotel's services were introduced intimately. The room was better than expected, clean and tidy, needless to say, the layout was particularly reasonable, and the space was just right. The bedding was soft and the pillow was comfortable. I slept well all night. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries are of high quality and are gentle and comfortable to use."

"We were staying for a short break on our trip, and based on the principle of staying for one night, we chose this hotel for its good value. I have to say, the room was indeed large, with a bathtub, which the kids were very surprised about, and I loved it too. There was a slight odor in the room, and walking in slippers felt a bit sticky, but these were minor issues. The most outrageous thing was that when the kids wanted to take a bath, I cut my hand on some glass shards in the tub when I started to fill it with water. I called the front desk, and they sent someone up to check. They thought it might have been washed away by the current and didn't see anything. They said they couldn't give an explanation, but they would report it. When I checked out the next day, no one at the front desk explained the situation to me. They coldly checked me out without even a word of concern. Then, when the kids wiped their hands with a towel, they found it was dirty and asked if it hadn't been washed. It was really speechless!"

"The best part by far was that they have dryers!!! As an American living in China I've missed having soft, machine dried clothes. They have a completely free self serve laundry room.
The room was clean and stocked with all necessities and the bed was nice and comfy. The staff were very nice and offered me hot tea and water everytime I was in the lobby.
Its about a 20 minute walk from Huaihua South train station, but other than that the location is unremarkable. Overall I would stay at an Atour hotel in the future."

"I came here on a business trip after the Chinese New Year. It was recommended by a friend. It was my first time staying here. I arrived at the hotel a little late. However, the hotel housekeeper was very considerate, the service was good, enthusiastic and attentive, and the room was upgraded for free. The breakfast was also very good. Overall, it was very good. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, visited nearby old towns. The hotel is new, well designed, spacious and very modern.
The standout feature is the service. Xiao Li at the front desk was super helpful, went above and beyond to help us find transport options for getting around the region.
We enjoyed our stay immensely :)

This stay at Huatai International Phoenix Hotel left me with a very deep impression, especially the breakfast experience, which was the finishing touch.
In the early morning, sunlight shines in through the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a warm and comfortable dining atmosphere. The breakfast is rich and varied, combining Chinese and Western cuisines to meet the taste needs of different guests. What surprised me most was the hotel’s homemade rice noodles, which had a smooth texture, delicious soup, and a variety of ingredients. It was very memorable and started the day full of energy.
In addition to delicious food, the hotel's environment is also very comfortable. The room is spacious and bright, elegantly decorated, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, allowing you to have a good night's sleep. The hotel's service is impeccable. The staff is warm, thoughtful, and meticulous, always paying attention to the needs of the guests, making people feel at home.
In general, Huatai International Phoenix Hotel is first-class in both hardware facilities and software services, especially the delicious breakfast and thoughtful service, which added a wonderful memory to my journey. Next time I come, I will definitely choose here again!

MM.O.T.A.S around the worldGreat location, we got 2 bedrooms with river view, which was beautiful. Both rooms were very spacious and clean. TV was working fine, even found an English speaking channel. The reception staff were very patient and helpful with the topic of registering foreigners and made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was the usual, fruit, boiled eggs, other vegetables and soup. Comfortable beds, working air conditioning. Over all a good stay and recommended.

GGuest UserThe service was super good, I booked the wrong day. It happened that the listing was very tight a year ago, and the front desk lady was afraid that I would go to no room. It was said that there was no place to arrange a sofa for me and sleep with a quilt. I arrived at 3 or 4 in the morning, and the young lady has been busy and busy. Then the room was very clean. __AmicoFantastic! Definitely a five-star review! I forgot to take photos of the room, only managed to snap a few of the front desk.
1. Although the hotel isn't brand new, it's impeccably clean; even the carpets were spotless. All essential facilities were well-maintained and readily available.
2. The service was absolutely exceptional. The lady at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, offering excellent recommendations when we asked about local eateries. The cleaning staff were also very warm and proactively asked if we needed anything. We had a minor issue with the toilet in our room, but a quick call had a staff member fixing it right away. In the evening, when we requested mineral water, they delivered two bottles for free and even included complimentary yogurt.
3. The hotel also provided a shuttle service to and from the station. The driver was very polite, sent me a text message in advance, and even called me when my high-speed train arrived. The vehicle itself was also very clean. Most hotels typically only offer pick-up service, so finding one that also provides drop-off was a truly pleasant surprise!
4. I had previously seen online reviews praising their breakfast duck noodle soup, so we didn't hesitate to book breakfast for two. It turned out to be a fantastic surprise! My companions and I all agreed that the breakfast duck noodle soup was even tastier than the goose noodle soup we specifically sought out at another restaurant – it was genuinely good!
5. The location was also quite convenient. While it's not the closest option to Fengyu Bridge, it offers a quiet spot away from the crowds. It was within a 10-minute walk to Shen Congwen's Former Residence and also about 10 minutes to Ga Xiaohuang, which made it quite convenient.
Overall, it offers incredibly high value for money! This is a highly recommended hotel!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean, the service attitude is good, and the confidentiality is strong. Although it is in a busy area, it is not noisy. The breakfast category is also very rich, with noodles, porridge, fruits, various vegetables, milk, soy milk... and many more. The most important thing was left in the hotel room. Later, I contacted the hotel front desk, and the lady and brother were very enthusiastic to help me call Paopao to deliver it to me. I am very satisfied.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was very spacious, clean and modern. The hotel has a small convenience store inside/in the lobby providing necessities. We booked a room with a land mark view which was not provided, or could not be provided since there is no actual land mark around the hotel itself, so it should not be listed as such. Hotel is located next to a mall/ pedestrian street with food stalls, but it seems like the mall itself is closed or partially closed, probably because of chinese new year. It can be very loud during the day and during the night, due to it also being located next to bars. Also there is a big screen playing ads until late in the evening, which can also be heard in the hotel room. Although there are smoking prohibited signs in the rooms (atleast in our room that was stated as a non-smoking room) and in the elevators, it smelled like cigarettes all the time and pretty much everywhere, even on the bedding itself, so if you are a non smoker or sensitive to smells, you should probably check with staff beforehand.
