I am setting the cheapest classic room, I don't recommend it to everyone. I booked Le Damantin hotel and spa last week for our visit to Paris. We were greeted at the door and sat in the lounge with the concierge who went over the details of the hotel. Spa pool bar etc. Then we had someone take our luggage to our room which was ready for us as we arrived. We were served a drink while we waited and then taken to our room. It was exactly what we were expecting, spacious and clean with a clear view of the eifel tower from the window. Anything I needed from taxis to reservations to resturaunts, the staff covered everything and were so polite. The bar area is great for drinks and bartenders are extremely helpful with anything you need brought to your room. I'm not the best with French, but they made reservations for us at great resturaunts even when reserving a table online wasn't available. It was maybe 2 blocks from great shopping, and most of the shops will deliver to the hotel so you don't have to carry your bags around. I dont know why there are any negative reviews, and maybe they've corrected any mistakes but we had a great stay and have already recommended it to a friend visiting Paris soon, and will definitely book again in the summer when we come back!

Staff, concierge, and services were great. It does have a small elevator, but its new and not meant for a football team. Breakfast had excellent coffee and choices to get going. The breakfast experience was pleasant, and started the day great. The room was clean and updated, good shower, linens, and there is a safe. Small, but we didn't intend on spending any time in the room. the location works great, small walk to subway (didn't use because of the strikes) small walk to the local train station, and Roissey bus which is also not bad to use. The bus was not running when we came in, so we took an overpriced cab. (don't do that). Very short walk if you average 3-4 miles a day like we did, to the Louvre, place de la Concorde, Orangerie, D'Orsay, and Isle de la Citie. (in another direction, Eiffel tower isn't far). Lots of dining nearby, ATM, groceries. Again, staff was helpful with our bad French, and it all worked out great.

The French chain hotel Astoria I stayed at was personally better than Ibis. The price was about 800 including double breakfast, but it was worth 100 yuan in Paris to send 6 bottles of water and drinks every day, and the room was clean and tidy. This Astoria is within walking distance of the Galeries Lafayette Louvre, the accommodation is safe, and the surrounding subway is also convenient. The airport bus to the airport is just a few minutes away. The price/performance ratio is also super high. It is highly recommended !

The location was excellent for accessing most of the interesting sites in Paris. The Eiffel Tower could be seen down the road from the front of the hotel. We had a lovely room on the courtyard and housekeeping was always available. We also had a delicious breakfast at the hotel. If one prefers eating out, one can find many cafes, bakeries and restaurants nearby. All and all, staying at the St Dominique Hotel was a very good experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to travelers wanting to experience the Paris life.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in early April. The location of the hotel in proximity to everything is excellent - lots of restaurants, bakeries and bars within walking distance. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night we arrived and it was also good. The room we stayed in had an inner courtyard view and was on the 2nd floor above the lobby. The stairs were pretty narrow to get up and down with our bags - but you are in Paris, after all! The room and hotel itself was beautiful - the branding was thoughtfully woven throughout the entire experience (even the door handles). Our room had nice big bathroom with a nice shower and soaps etc. A mini fridge and bathrobes allowed us to enjoy our time spent in the room (which wasn’t a lot). The only real negative is just that the ceilings were quite low so it felt a little claustrophobic at times, and for the cost of the room it would have been nice if breakfast had been included (more amenities). But with all the bakeries nearby, it wasn’t an issue! The price was on par with other hotels for its excellent location. We would definitely return and stay again at the Hotel Thoumieux!

This property literally is our second home. Rooms are clean, breakfast is perfect, and the value for money is unbeatable. The service we receive consistently is very similar if not better from luxury hotels. We’ve been staying in this stylish boutique property since 2018 and each stay feels like being welcomed by family. Jan the director ensures we are treated like royalty. Leon of reception is an enabler, he is the soul of Hotel Mathis. A pillar of the hotel, he is the Monsieur Gustave if Mathis is the Grand Budapest hotel! He makes things possible. Delphine and Guillaume are always there to assist. Julia of breakfast is like a mother who ensures we are well-fed. Daniel and Marcus take the extra mile during night shifts and are assistive especially on late night food deliveries. Sasha never complains no matter how heavy our luggage are! I can say our hearts belong to this hotel.
