Hotels Near Pavillon Turgot in Paris

The room size isnt as generous as you would expect for a 1 bedroom suite but it did fit family of 4. The AC wasn't really working and the washing machine was faulty. Reported it to the concierge but still not fixed the next day. Luckily there is a self-help laundramat about 300 meters from the hotel. The location is great and central and with easy access to scooters and bikes which I reckon is the best way to get around Paris.

First of all, the rooms are so small you will not be able to open your suitcase on the floor or anywhere else for that matter. We booked a room with AC and when we checked in, there was no functioning AC in the room. We contacted reception to change rooms, but we were told that was not possible and that no rooms has fcuntioning AC, and thatthey were waiting for someone to repair it. The receptionist was quite rude and did not apologize or explain why this info was not offered when we booked a few days before. He just sarcastically told us to open the windows. We said we would check out of the room the next morning to which he just said ”ok”. The next morning when we checked out we were told we could change to a different room, but we declined as we had already booked a new hotel. After we had left, we got an angry call from some manager who demanded we come back and get a new room. They were apparently lying when they said there were no other rooms with AC the day before, and the manager calling us kept insisting that they had never said that at all and that we had made up that there were no other rooms. She kept interrupting on the phone and refused to acknowledge that we were two people in the conversation with the receptionist the day beforewho both heard him say this, and even though she had not heard the conversation herself, she seemed to know better than anyone what had been said there. This really is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, both in terms of the quality of the room and the rude and unprofessional staff. I don't particularly enjoy getting lied to and then being accused of making things up, and I also don't enjoy trying to sleep in a tiny room that is boiling. We will not be back and we recommend no one else is either.

While the location is outstanding the hotel lacks key service like restaurants, room service and concierge . Only one person at the front desk who is always busy doing everything ( check in and out, cashier, housekeeping, information, etc. ) you have to wait for along time to be answered on any questions!!! I have notified the hotel ahead of time that we are on our honeymoon and requested a king size bed but ended up with two beds!!? and there is not any honeymoon arrangements

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

My family and I recently enjoyed a truly exceptional stay at the Marriott Champs Elysees. The location is unrivaled, right at the heart of Paris with easy access to the city's iconic landmarks. The rooms were luxurious, well-maintained, and provided comfort beyond our expectations. The amenities catered to every age group in the family, making our stay enjoyable for all. In short, this Marriott establishment embodies the pinnacle of service, setting a high bar for luxury accommodation. Highly recommended for a perfect family stay.

The rooms were small but clean. There were small cubes where to save your stuff but not even a carry on would fit there. The private bathrooms were ok but there were no towels to even dry my hands on or to step out the shower afterwards, so everything was a bit wet. Sometimes I could not get it into the common bathrooms for some reason and I know I was not the only one (problems with hostel card) We asked whether they could add us all to the same 4-bed room since we were 3. They said they could and afterwards they did not 'by mistake' so this was a bit disappointing. The place in general was awesome, it was very nice, clean, friendly staff. They also have lockers where to store your luggage if needed. Breakfast was a bit expensive but totally worth it. Location was convenient since there is a metro station just around the corner, so it was pretty easy to move around such a big city. I would probably go again.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Great location around a lively and bustling trendy area of Paris. Literally a very short walk from Sacre Coure,which is a must see when in Paris.loads of places to eat from Brasseries to a bakery. Spoilt for choice for food and places to drink, although pick wisely as not all Bistros offer great food. The hotel itself were really friendly, rooms clean ,basic but do the job. Breakfast area is very small and cramped,with timed sittings, with breakfast being Continental only. A short walk away from Anvers Metro station with good access to the whole of Paris. would I use this hotel again? Absolutely Yes.

I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.

My husband and I stayed in a Superior Double Room for two days at the beginning of March. We had a wonderful view of the park and the Eiffel Tower. The room is beautiful to look at, but a little damaged in some parts (for example the shower). The biggest problem of the room was the ventilation system, as it smelled of the drain several times. The cleaner does her job, as she cleans the room daily, but the problem is exclusively ventilation. I might also point out that you can hear the chairs being moved in the bar in the room. I would also suggest that a different choice of breakfast be made every day, as it was the same breakfast twice. However, I would like to conclude by praising the staff, who were friendly at all times.
