The staff is very friendly and they will help you call a taxi. The environment is very convenient to the station, and there is also a supermarket nearby, which is convenient for shopping. Toilets are clean.

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

We had the standard room for this stay. Compared to the upgraded room, it felt a tad more basic and smaller. But nonetheless we like and book this hotel for the fact it is right smack at Gare de Lyon, and the benefits that come along with it.

We were attracted to this hotel by its low price, and I think that is important to remember throughout this review. For £50 a night you aren’t going to get much! The hotel is well located near to a small shopping center with shops and a bakery. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel which takes you in to the center of Paris in around 10 minutes, and free parking at the front of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming. We arrived at approximately 2030 on our first night. There was no problem checking in and we were relieved to know that there was a bar and restaurant on site as we had my friends daughter with us. However, the staff informed us that the restaurant was closed due to a private party. Essentially, 5 or more coaches of what seemed to be a religious group had arrived and had hired out the entire restaurant. This was not ideal with a child and a diabetic! There are no restaurants within walking distance and we therefore had to muddle our way through ordering a dominos pizza in French online! It would have been good if the hotel had told us that the restaurant would be closed as we would have brought food with us. The numerous coaches also took up most of the parking spaces, which would have made moving the van difficult. We therefore used public transport. On our second night the lifts broke. There was a door to some stairs but the staff informed us that we weren’t allowed to use the stairs. We waited around for about an hour for the lifts to be fixed. Again, this was not ideal with a child after a long day sight seeing!

Stayed here before returning home, and stayed here in France for the first time. I booked it from different platforms. There is an elevator. You can help keep your luggage when you arrive early or check out. The front desk can speak good English. Toothbrush and toothpaste should be prepared by yourself. The space is not big, one person and two luggage can not be opened at the same time, but comfortable. This time I stayed on the six floors and the lighting was very good. I forgot to live on the second or third floor before, and the daylighting will be blocked. It's okay to stay for one night. The location is very close to Lyon Railway Station, very convenient, there are Chinese restaurants (going right and turning left) and sushi restaurants nearby (continue to go along the direction of the Chinese restaurant, diagonally opposite the road), it is quite delicious, not particularly expensive, a meal is ten euros up and down, in that location this price should be OK. The difference is that there is a supermarket name on the street probably monop's(monoprix) orange red black match store, you can buy frozen food for fast food, Paris prices are OK.

This was our third stay at this hotel over a period of several years and I posted a very positive review in 2014. Oh, how things have changed here! I begin with the most serious of the offenses and indignities we suffered during our 5-night stay. I was entrapped in the hotel's elevator for a period of 10-15 minutes before the staff registered any response to the emergency alarm bell or my pounding on the elevator door. When a maintenance employee finally arrived, he said that the alarm bell notified the off-premises elevator service company rather than the hotel itself. I knew this was not accurate as I could clearly hear the alarm when I repeatedly pressed it. When I was finally liberated from the elevator and spoke with the on-duty manager, he apologized and said he had been in the ”back office” and had not heard the alarm. The general manager of the hotel also stated that she regretted the ”inconvenience.” I think this event qualified substantially above the level of ”inconvenience” and the manager's proffer of a fractional portion of the substantial Marriott points I had used for my stay was wholly inadequate for the life-threatening emergency that could well have been the case. In addition to this incident, we experienced an appalling indifference and lack of basic service from the staff of the hotel, including (1) absence of a bellman to assist with our bags upon arrival at the hotel by taxi ,(2) failure to deliver an additional luggage rack to the room following request of the bellman, (3) failure of housekeeping staff to make up the room for a period of two hours and after three requests when we inadvertently left the French-language ”do not disturb” sign on our door, (4) failure to respond to three or more requests for towels that had not been left by the housekeeper, and (5) recommendation by the newest and least-experienced junior concierge of an Asian restaurant that displayed a ”closed” sign when we arrived and where no employees spoke English or could provide an English-language menu. (In fact, with regard to the restaurant, the chief concierge told us the next day that she had ”never heard of it.”) We chose this hotel because we had previously had positive experiences, notwithstanding the fact that the rooms are extremely small (even with our upgrade from a ”cubby hole” to a ”shoebox-sized” room). The hotel's common area is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well-appointed despite their size. The problem with this hotel boils down to indifferent management and that is really a shame. It could be so much more!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel Locomo last week. The service was impeccable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful and not to mention, the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in a central location near Gare de Lyon station, which is one of the busiest station in Paris. Close to many attraction and restaurants. The conference room was specious and well-equipped and suitable for any business affairs. They also have a good size Hammam in the hotel. The Hotel Locomo is a great choice for anyone travelling in business and wants to stay in the central of Paris. I'll definitely return here and recommend it to all my friends. The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

A great location, quiet area and a short walking distance to the interchange of railways and metros. Centralised location which make it easy for traveller like me with an active itinerary to go around Paris. The view from hotel room was fantastic that I can view the nearby canal and Eiffel Tower can be seen too. The staff service was great. The room was spacious with comfortable double bed. I love the smart controller using mini ipad to control the lighting, blind, curtain and TV. There is a nice bakery shop at the corner for quick bites especially for breakfast. Overall, convenient location and safe. Will come back to stay here again for my next visit.

This comfortable and beautiful hostel is so near the Bercy Bus and Train station. You can go the city center and all tourists places via metro, buses in a very short time. There are several good restaurants and cafes near the hostel to eat or have a drink. The room stayed was so clean and comfortable. It also had a balcony. The staff are so kind, understanding,smiled-face and helpful people. I thank them all. If you want to visit Paris for a couple of days as a solo traveller like me, this beautiful, peaceful and safe hostel is a great place for you. I strongly recommend it.
