Travelers Reviews of Paris Hotels

La Fantaisie
4.5/570 Reviews
This hotel has only been open for about a year and a half, and its facilities are relatively complete. The hotel staff was friendly, but I was a little disappointed that eggs were not included in the breakfast. The location of the hotel is also very convenient.
Sofitel le Scribe Paris Opera

The location is excellent, opposite the Paris Opera House, Vendôme, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, etc. are all within walking distance. There is also a subway station next to it, and transportation is very convenient. There are also two Chinese restaurants behind the hotel. The hygiene is OK. The breakfast is OK, and the service is very good and enthusiastic.
InterContinental Paris le Grand, an IHG Hotel
4.6/5171 Reviews
The room is not big, very small. The breakfast is good, but it doesn't seem to be as big as the Intercontinental in China. The service is OK, but the water seems to be limited, only one bottle per day. This is a very bad experience.

First, the good: the aesthetic of the hotel is exceptional, especially the lobby and the bar. You receive a personalised welcome including a history of the hotel. The rooms are super quiet and dark at night and you'll for sure get a good sleep. The bad: the rooms are very small and the one we got (Rose) was a disappointment compared to the photos. The room lacked basic amenities like tea and coffee which you get in even the most low budget hotels, and when the front desk was called to ask about this, we were offered tea brought to the room, but then charged 20 euros (we got this removed from the bill of course, but this should not have happened to begin with). The service was very slow during our stay, both the check-in but also the breakfast. It felt like it was understaffed, even though at breakfast it was only around half full at the time. In general, the service level attempts to be more personal to justify its 5 star rating, but clearly more staff are needed to pull this off properly. The spa was too cold to enjoy. I would not stay again, but would consider visiting the bar to enjoy the unique atmosphere.
Hotel de Nell

I stayed for 3 nights on my honeymoon. I had originally booked another hotel, but I couldn't choose a hotel based on the travel agency's plan, so I ended up staying in an insecure area, and there was a lot of noise late at night, so I ended up staying at this hotel in a hurry. Even though it was a last-minute reservation, we were treated very well, like our room being upgraded and the bed being sprinkled with flower petals since we were on our honeymoon. The bathroom had a bathtub, so I was able to get a good rest every day even though I tend to walk around a lot in Paris. Also, all the staff members were kind and did not take offense at my poor English, but tried to understand my intentions. I had a plan without breakfast, but I only had breakfast once for a fee. The freshly baked omelet was delicious and memorable. In addition, the amenities were all NUX, giving it a luxurious feel. Thanks to this hotel, our honeymoon became a wonderful memory that will last a lifetime. I plan to visit again the next time I visit Paris.
Hotel Parister & Spa

The hotel is located in the city center and is convenient for travel. The decoration is very good and has a retro style. The lobby is very good for taking pictures. The hotel room is very large. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas. It is very comfortable for three people. There is also a working stereo and the room is well soundproofed. The hotel staff are all very nice and they are very quick to help with takeout and delivery.
