The hotel facilities are very good and the service is very good. It is a lot of refugees in the surrounding environment and it is not safe.

I Really liked this hotel: service was good, rooms clean and very Scandinavian style, bed was really comfortable, shower room clean and water pressure good. Wifi worked very well. I usually stay in 4-5 star hotels, but as stayed only one night (opera eve) , and local friend recommended this place, I decided to try it. Location is very Arabic (I think Algerian as road is Rue de roi Algeria) , and everybody so friendly. Metro station approx. 5 min walk (Care du Nord/Eurostar 15 min door to door, not bad= an excellent Metro connection) .As soon as you walk in to this hotel, you have nice and fresh feeling. Lobby/brfst room small but very cosy. Staff service level same standard than 5star deluxe without attitude problems (often snobby in 5 star deluxe) . No lift, room was on third floor. Lovely, Scandinavian style room. I read previous comments about noise outside/ My room (34) was on street side and it was really quiet. If you look budget hotel choice with a good quality , this is definitely worth to try. Rooms are smaller (except my room 34) , but over all, you cannot go wrong with this choice. Management really knows how to supply a good standard 3 star hotel. Will definitely recommend and return to this property! One of the best night sleep I have had a long time! Only minus thing was that no English TV stations at all ( Great large tv)
Hipotel Paris Gare du Nord Merryl

In Paris you tend to get what you pay for so if you book a budget hotel, lower your expectations!! That said, this hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. When I got to my room it was very clean, with a comfy bed and basic looking shower that actually supplied plentiful hot water. The guys at reception were pleasant. They let me drop my bag off prior to check in and let me leave it for a bit after I checked out. For sure there is noise from the street but as a city girl, I was not bothered and it was not excessive. Because the floors are not carpeted (they have new looking lino type floors) the noise from someone upstairs who did not take their shoes off was much more distracting!! The stairs could do with a good scrub to be more aesthetically pleasing but as I wasn't sleeping on them I didn't care. Super close to the Metro at La Chappell and an easy walk to Gare de I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. All in all, much better than I expected and I would stay again

Montmartre
A very cost-effective hotel in Paris, all the staff are very warm and thoughtful, and provide a cot for children for free. Located in Montmartre, fifteen minutes walk from the Sacre Coeur Basilica. The Paris Strike Metro operates normally on Line 1, and stays for an average of ten kilometers a day for four days. When leaving, please ask the hotel to help you book a drop-off. The taxi driver's brother is also very caring. The traffic jam in the city is serious and it drove for more than an hour.
