There are room decorations on the floor where you stay. Corridors are being repaired
The hotel room feels like it was recently renovated, which is pretty good
There are many beautiful Parisian cafes downstairs. If you want to eat Chinese food, there are Japanese udon and Korean restaurants next to it. There is also a small supermarket across the road and many famous stores. The location is excellent and the most important thing is that the location is also very safe.

The Citadines Saint-Germain-des-Prés exceeded all my expectations!
1. Location – absolutely perfect! The hotel is situated right in the heart of Paris, just steps away from the Seine and iconic landmarks like Notre-Dame, the Louvre, and the Luxembourg Gardens. It’s ideal for exploring the city on foot.
2. The inclusion of a kitchen in the room was a major plus. It’s incredibly convenient, especially for families or those who prefer to cook their own meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.
3. A bathtub in the room was a delightful touch, perfect for unwinding after a busy day of sightseeing.
4. The availability of free coffee all day is a small but thoughtful perk. It’s a great treat for coffee lovers and adds to the overall experience.
5. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their warm attitude made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a central location in Paris. Highly recommend!

Excellent location. Next to train station direct to airport and Disneyland. Walking distance to notre dame and Louvre. Plenty of restaurants and malls nearby. The location is very good, the rooms are warm and the rooms are relatively large. I changed three hotels in Paris for 6 nights, and the other two are more expensive than this. The rooms are not as comfortable (also in nearby hotels), and also close to the subway station. Very close, convenient, cost-effective

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to LEBONMARCHE, only 5 minutes walking distance, there are many brand shops around, you can go downstairs. The hotel room is a bit small, but for the price of this location in Paris, it is already a very cost-effective choice. The subway downstairs will be noisy. Those who mind the noise should pay attention to it. Generally speaking, it is more suitable.

The hotel is in a very good location, less than 5 minutes away from the subway, with multiple lines to choose from, and convenient for shopping and dining around. It is close to the Opera House and Printemps Department Store. The staff is very welcoming. Although the room is simply furnished, it is enough for a one-night stopover. Although there is no kettle in the room, there is a water bar where you can heat water yourself. The downside is that you have to carry your luggage to the first floor to get an elevator, and it is not very convenient to go up the spiral staircase if you have large luggage! .

Location was very central meaning easy to use as a base to all of paris, very close to train station but not in main road meaning very quiet on evening. Very narrow/small bathroom but clean, whilst using the toilet you will be in contact with the sink. All in all a very pleasant stay.

As a nearly 70 years old traveler, in my first booking 26-27 Dec 2024 I was given a upper bunk bed posing many difficulties for me in climbing up and decending down.
In the second booking 27 Dec 2024 - 9 Jan 2025, I was given a lower bunk bed.
Last but not least, I am pleased to thank particularly the hostel manager Thomas and his colleague Vincy for their kind assitance and friendly chat.
In summary, I give a thumb up for staying The People Belleville.

Outstanding
GGuest UserGreat location , behind the Champs Elysees.and the metro is very close by which allows you to travel easily around Paris.
Room was clean and in full working order .
Breakfast buffet is a treat . All items are of very high quality and if anything we ate too much ….
There is a small shop in Lobby to buys pastries , coffee and salads. No need to go out: very convenient.
Hotel is very busy with over 1000 rooms. Sometimes can be difficult to get your room cleaned . We had to call 3 times, before a room attendant showed up .
Have tea and coffee making facilities, yet our tea did not get replenished for 3 days .
Overall satisfied and would recommend
GGuest UserI first stayed at this Hotel in 2014 and was very impressed with the entire experience, so I valued this hotel and always wanted to return… 8 years later and I was extremely disappointed.
I booked a superior villa room, and we was given room 6. This room is located on the ground floor directly behind the reception reception desk on the ground floor. The receptionist (skinny white male, 40+ years old) who checked us in on 15/12/22 at 11:30pm was very rude, awkward and sarcastic during the check in process.
When we got to our room, we felt it lacked privacy being on the ground floor with only a wall between us and the main reception area, the Toilet was also in a separate room with no sink, meaning anyone who uses that toilet would need to open the door with their dirty hands and walk all the way to the bathroom to wash hands. There were also mascara stains on one of the pillows.
We requested if we could change to another room on a higher floor but to the same level for what we had paid for (superior villa room). The receptionist said this was fine, and changed us over to another room on the 5th floor. We were really happy and grateful until we got to the room, only to find this room was actually a downgrade to a ‘classic villa room’ which felt much smaller and wasn’t very nice. This also wasn’t explained to us prior to him changing our rooms over.
We returned to reception and asked why we had been out in a downgraded room, his response was he didn’t realise and this was a mistake in his behalf. I asked him if there were any other rooms to the same value as what I had paid for the superior room available on another floor. I was told out of the entire hotel there was only two rooms left, the one behind reception, or the classic room on the 5th floor which would be a downgrade. We reluctantly opted to stay with the original room behind reception. The receptionist was very smug and seemed to find this funny.
After settling in and falling asleep… 6:30am a motorbike wakes us up, as our room is located beside the main entrance and reception we hear every car or motorbike dropping off, or picking up guests, and every person checking in or out. 7:15am the bins are collected, again very loud and as our room is right next to this area we hear it all.
It really seems standards have significantly dropped since we last stayed. Service seems to be poor and cleanliness of the hotel not as good as before, an overall terrible experience and if it wasn’t so late when we checked in I would’ve booked another hotel because the receptionist was so rude.
On a side note, I must also say there was another receptionist who was working the night shift the following day (16/12/22) around 10pm and he was very friendly, helpful and a nice person. If I could give him 5 stars I would, but unfortunately the experience with the initial receptionist meant our experience was already tainted by this point. I doubt we will ever return unfortunately, and cannot recommend, unless your guaranteed a decent room on a higher floor.
AAnonymous UserOverall the room was clean and tidy and the hotel staff members were very kind for anything. Although the location is a bit far from the center you still have access to the bus stops and the metro nearby. There is also a small shopping town in front of the hotel which was very convenient. Would like to recommend!
GGuest UserA Stunning Aesthetic Marred by Disappointing Service
My recent stay at Hôtel Dame des Arts allowed me to immerse myself in the splendor of the awe-inspiring interior design crafted by Raphel Navot and indulge in the allure of the popular rooftop bar, which undoubtedly left a positive and lasting impression.
The interior design of the hotel was a masterpiece in itself, with Raphel Navot's talent evident in every detail. The ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication, creating an atmosphere that truly enhanced the overall guest experience. Additionally, the rooftop bar provided breathtaking views of Paris, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment.
Regrettably, the overall experience was overshadowed by a combination of disappointments, notably the service at the ground floor cafe. The male employee with a beard exhibited a dismissive and inattentive demeanor during my interactions with him. His lack of attentiveness made me feel overlooked, leaving me hesitant to further explore the cafe's offerings. While I typically do not demand exceptional service, this level of inattentiveness fell short even of my usual expectations.
This attitude displayed by this specific employee overshadowed the positive hospitality offered by all other employees at the hotel, leaving a bittersweet impression of the overall service.
Furthermore, my stay was marred by a billing issue, resulting in double charging for my fully prepaid reservation. Such an oversight was embarrassing.
On a positive note, I must commend the other hotel staff, particularly those at the reception and rooftop bar areas, for their accommodating nature, contributing to a more pleasant overall experience.
In conclusion, Hôtel Dame des Arts undoubtedly showcased a dedication to exceptional design and ambiance. However, the combination of one inattentive employee and the billing concerns left me with a mixed impression. I firmly believe that fostering a culture of attentive and respectful service, along with diligent billing practices, is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience. By addressing these issues, Hôtel Dame des Arts can elevate its reputation and ensure that every guest is treated with the care and professionalism they rightfully deserve. A seamless harmony of remarkable aesthetics and attentive service will undoubtedly make for an even more remarkable stay at this captivating hotel.
AAvelineI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Artus Hotel and I was lucky to chance upon this hotel during my search. There are so many options and recommendations out there. I'm glad I chose this hotel for my maiden trip to Paris.
First, the location. I can walk to the major landmarks like River Seine, Louvre, 'Dorsay museum, Notre Dame, etc. It is located close to St Germaine, so there are many charming streets to roam about and many options for food and supplies. I feel safe wandering around on my own as a solo female traveller.
Second, the place is tastefully decorated. I like my room which has windows that overlook the streets as well as the decor. The bed is so comfortable that I slept very well during the three nights I was there. The housekeeping staff also kept the room clean and I like that the hotel embraces environmental practices. The only thing is that the yellow lights in the room can be a bit dim, but the white light used in the bathroom is bright.
Third, the staff. I was greeted by a lady when I checked in and she is so understanding, patient and nice with me. I would like to commend her for her great personality and attitude, but I missed getting her name. The other staff I met are equally friendly and nice (two young ladies, one named Li/Yang; and another gentleman). Even if they don't know something, they will look up the information for me. They will also provide me with recommendations. I also must compliment the driver who picked me up from the airport and drove me to the airport (hotel transfers). He is very polite and considerate and he makes me feel at ease when i was travelling in his car. Even the gentleman who helped me with my luggage wore a big smile on his face. Thank you to everyone I've met during my stay and which made my experience a pleasant one.
I learned only on my last day that they have another sister hotel a few steps away. One of the staff recognized me and invited me to take a look inside. Again, the place is tastefully done. If I have a chance to be back in Paris, I will check out both Artus Hotel as well as this hotel. I would also like to take this opportunity to make a request to the guests who are going to stay in the hotel - let's make an effort to treat the room as if it is our own. That way, the hotel will stay in a good condition for a longer time and future guests will get to enjoy the stay as much as I did. Thank you :)
AAnonymous UserAccessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages.
It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte.
About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge.
Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue.
Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.
UUlulyrakExcellent location for Eiffel Tower. Nearest Metro is 5 min walk away (opened for a week whilst we were there). Is currently undergoing upgrading so the next nearest Metro is about 15 mins walk away. Room is standard Paris size, clean. The staff were very friendly and multilingual. Our experience was great, no issues with shower/hot water. Many good restaurants around. Photos attached was taken from room.
MMargaritaThe Hotel is positioning as a 4 Star hotel. Unfortunately it needs a lot of renovation inside. As you can see at the pictures there is necessary to renovate the room doors and paint it again.
Upon arriving at evening 20.10.24 I was told the hotel doesn’t see my reservation at all and they have no booked room for me. After 30 minutes negotiations, check the data, connection to provider I obtained the room only. As the receptionist told me there was a crackdown of the hotel booking system recently.
Thank you for the reception officer to provide me 2 rooms apartment for the first night.
The breakfasts were tasty with a good varieties of fresh fruits, quarks and good coffee.
Location is perfect for the shoppers absolutely and it is not far away from the Metro stations.
TThe.snacking.gypsyI booked a room in an eight-bed mixed dorm. While the room itself was spacious, the noise from the lockers was unbearable—every time someone tried to take something out, it felt like it would wake up everyone. The toilet was quite large and clean, but the shower curtain was in poor condition, stinking, and covered with hard water stains. Also, the soap dispenser was empty. That said, the location was great, and for Paris, the price was excellent. You do have to pay €5 for a padlock and €3 for a towel, but there’s a bar downstairs where you can get drinks late. The breakfast is a steal at €7, or even €5 on special offers. You really get what you pay for! The staff is absolutely fabulous nonetheless, I Asked Ms Constanza for directions to the Christmas market and she obliged.
GGuest UserThe location of the room is really good. It's close to two subway stations and three Chinese restaurants. It's really good. The guy at the front desk was handsome and friendly. The main problem is the size of the bathroom... it is too small. I am 1.8 meters tall and it is difficult to turn around in the bathroom. If you move even slightly, you will hit the glass. If you are a slightly fatter guest, it will definitely not be possible. Use this for bathing
