Due to my job, I often travel to different countries. This hotel was beyond my expectations. After reading various reviews I took the wrong decision to book a room here for a week. First of all, the beds are really tiny. They can't accommodate 2 person without pushing each other and trying not to fall off. But I understand, it is a hotel in Paris, did not expected bigger rooms. On the other hand, we could hear the guest on the next room talking, their TV, their water running while taking a shower and even in the morning their phone alarm going off! Moreover, the room lighting is very poor. Just one weak lamp provided on the desk and two weak lights provided on the wall. One was not working by the time we arrived, but they fixed it the other day after mentioning it. However it was not enough and couldn't work or do online meetings. Lastly, I asked at the reception for an iron. The answer was” sorry they took them”. When back to my room, waited for over 30 minutes, went down to see if they became available but still nothing. When I told him that is it unacceptable for a ”3 stars” hotel to have just 2 irons (as he told me prior) he laughter into my face. That's not a proper costumer service any client would like to encounter. If you are still thinking of booking at this hotel, then I wish you good luck!

I am an international student catching a flight. The hotel is very close to the nucleic acid testing center, 10 minutes away. It is also very close to Montparnasse train station, it takes 15 minutes to walk at most, and the transportation is convenient. Very clean and the hotel staff are also very kind. The surrounding environment is good, quiet and safe~

Serviced apartment, we stayed in Paris for 8 nights, very convenient.
First of all, the location is good. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Notre-Dame du Louvre d'Orsay, and there are two subway stations nearby, which is also very convenient. In the past few days, we mainly visited museums on foot.
Secondly, although it is cleaned every two or three days, there is unlimited towels at the self-service, and it is equipped with a microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator and dishwasher. This week, we basically made breakfast in the room with bread and other things bought at Carrefour City Supermarket. , tableware, toaster, etc. complete, perfect!
Then, the free coffee and chocolate downstairs are also great. I have to drink one before going out and after coming back every day. It’s cloudy and rainy in Paris these days and it’s cold. It’s not too comfortable to drink a cup of hot chocolate right away when you get back to the hotel.

The apartment rented by a family studying in France is close to the hotel. The room is very small. The bathroom is not isolated from the bedroom. If two people live, they will get up in the middle of the night and the other will be affected. There is no water heater, but the capsule coffee machine is good. The room No. 11 has a separate small balcony, which is very comfortable. I originally planned to come back from South France to book this place, but I felt uncomfortable after staying for one night. I decided to cancel the original order and change the hotel.

Stayed at the hotel back in December 18/January 19 over the new year for 5 nights with my girlfriend. First of all it looked lovely from the outside, really old school, authentic looking french building, very beautiful. It was located in a good location, just a short walk away from the Eiffel Tower and situated around lots of restaurants, cafes & bars! There are also two metro stations very close by and lots of shops. Also we found a brilliant location if you are keen on your walking, if your a keen walker we got to all the major attractions within maximum an hour on foot. The major issue we had with the hotel was the size of the room really, the pictures on the website were very deceiving - ultimately it wasn’t a major issue as we weren’t actually in the room a lot but when your somewhere for 5 days there was limited space in the room to relax and for storage plus the bathroom was VERY small. But the room was always as clean as it could be, it’s very old fashioned and I would say in need of a freshen up but non the less a lovely spot, friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay. The lifts were also very dated and just be careful as you literally walk straight out the lifts on to a spiral staircase, sometimes a little tricky after a sherbert or two.

I have tried to base my review on the factors which the hotel (hostel) does have control of and ignore the views of other guests. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful speaking fluent English. We got some free towels (normally chargeable) and a room to store our luggage on our last day. The public areas are clean and tidy with a classy uniform wallpaper design throughout. We didn’t take any food instead opting to use the nearby Lidl for croissants and baggets although I think it was an option. The rooms were small with a sink, blackout blind, opening window, functional bed and an uncontrollable vent. There were four showers and three toilets per floor for communal use. The flat roof outside the window was strewn with rubbish (condom packet one of the more unpleasant), the bed was comfortable without being anything more there was no mattress protector (so I can understand the basis for other reviews) and the vent was continuously noisy - good job we were tired! The showers were clean and powerful if not a little too hot, the toilets however were often reduced to one as they were blocked and unsanitary. The area outside is the bottom end of pooville (I can’t use other language) arriving my heart sank although I was aware the outskirts of Paris are often questionable for tourists, it isn’t an area I’d want to be alone in at night. The reason for us booking here was the availability of a car park. The parking is two basement levels immediately below the hostel (not clear on booking) accessible by foot through a number of (broken) QR code security doors with nobody answering the intercom. The car exit had a metal gate and the entry a barrier so overall I guess very secure! but it is disgusting which doesn’t give you a feeling of security. Leaking pipes and a stench of urine in the stairwell complemented with walls covered in I don’t want to know what! It’s not luxury, it’s functional. You are in an (expensive) capital city and you pretty much get what you pay for, you’ve got to adjust your expectations. It was a good base for our two day trip in the city via a twenty minute metro ride.

I don't like the environment and layout of this hotel. There is no table in the room except the coffee table, and there is no place to put luggage. The toilet is separated, and the toilet is next to the door. It is a sliding door but there is a seam. The curtain of the bath can be separated from the bed, and it cannot be completely private. If someone walks from the bed to the door to go to the toilet, you can see you taking a shower. There is no place to put clothes in the bath, so I moved a small stool on the bedside to put it. The window door can be opened and stretched out, but not the balcony. The air conditioner in the room didn't know how to do it. It was very cold when it was turned on, and it couldn't be lowered. It happened that it rained a bit cold that night, and it was quite stuffy if it was not turned on.
Breakfast is very general, there is a clerk service is very friendly but I don't understand English. There are not many choices to eat, basically there are croissants Danish bread and some yogurt. It is better to go out and eat.
That's probably the price in central Paris, and I don't want to live anymore.
But not far from the subway, there are also Lefu supermarkets and some fruit breakfast restaurants nearby, I heard that it is a residential area. Not far from the neighborhood, there is a Vietnamese powder that is open very late. Although the store is small, the service brother will speak Chinese, English and French. You can dine in or take out. If you come to live, you can try it.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The water pressure was though very good and combined shower gel/shampoo is provided as are ample towels which are s

Good hotel. Solid experience. Feels like a 4 star hotel. Kind and accommodating staff. Giving me extra soft tissues as I had a cold during my stay. Nice little french balcony. Good location near metro and lots of restaurants and bars. Close to notre dame, and jardin luxembourg. Walkable pretty neighborhood(Paris 5eme) right by Sorbonne University. Would come back, hopefully without a cold next time. Only drawback, bar is seldom serviced and the selection is limited.
