2-Star Hotels in Paris

If there is a definition for Parisian housing this will be it. Even as an asian, space was cramped but enough for large luggages. Toilet was narrow but had hot water. Service counter staff was nice, allowed for early room key collection.

As a nearly 70 years old traveler, in my first booking 26-27 Dec 2024 I was given a upper bunk bed posing many difficulties for me in climbing up and decending down. In the second booking 27 Dec 2024 - 9 Jan 2025, I was given a lower bunk bed. Last but not least, I am pleased to thank particularly the hostel manager Thomas and his colleague Vincy for their kind assitance and friendly chat. In summary, I give a thumb up for staying The People Belleville.

This is a great location not too far away from china town and only a few metro ride to the main touristy area of paris. Plenty of eating places around there to cater for all taste. You can get all you chinese and Vietnamese good round there too together with your traditional french bistro food.

I feel that the location is a bit close to the 18th district. There are many people of various races nearby at night, which makes people feel less safe. The room is not large.

I booked a room in an eight-bed mixed dorm. While the room itself was spacious, the noise from the lockers was unbearable—every time someone tried to take something out, it felt like it would wake up everyone. The toilet was quite large and clean, but the shower curtain was in poor condition, stinking, and covered with hard water stains. Also, the soap dispenser was empty. That said, the location was great, and for Paris, the price was excellent. You do have to pay €5 for a padlock and €3 for a towel, but there’s a bar downstairs where you can get drinks late. The breakfast is a steal at €7, or even €5 on special offers. You really get what you pay for! The staff is absolutely fabulous nonetheless, I Asked Ms Constanza for directions to the Christmas market and she obliged.

This hostel is absolutely amazing! I stayed in a four-bed female dorm with a private bathroom. The room was quiet, and the roommates were super friendly. The bed was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t see any bugs at all (which is such a relief!). The location is unbeatable—you can walk to Notre-Dame Cathedral and even grab some of the best macarons in Paris at “Pierre Hermé”! The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Overall, I had such a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Paris!

The hotel is wonderfully located with a 4 minute walk to thr moulin rouge. Not only that it's located in a very busy parisian suburb, some comments complain about the noise below but that's the sound of the lively bustling Paris one should enjoy while on holiday. There are countless cafes nearby, underneath and all around that serve a variety of food. The room was tiny, if I was a solo guest it'd be satisfactory , but as I was sharing the room, it got a bit cramped. This was not too much of a problem and could be adjusted with perhaps a different room booked on my part. The bed was comfy, shower worked, although the bathroom was exceptionally small( it's one of those plastic bathrooms common in apartment to hotel conversions around Europe ) The breakfast online stated a continental breakfast, that'd be true if the continent in question was themed after a parisian bakery then that'd be accurate , because the breakfast only consisted of coffee or tea, juice, baguette , croissant and some cereals. Nothing more. While limited in options it was satisfactory and not a bad bread selection. The service was good and the atmosphere was friendly . Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again !

hotel room was small but it did say this on description. We were very pleased to be given the Eiffel Tower view room. We had cl great hosts and they made sure we had plenty of toiletries for our stay. We would stay here again. Rm305 I would only suggest to get a shower mat for the shower tiles on the floor as it’s very uncomfortable on feet😄

The location is actually a bit far from the city center. For breakfast, the hostel has a bread, hot cocoa & coffee. Then jam, panpan buns and Huiyuan juice. Don't let me and my roommate two boys do not have a problem. If the girls live together, they should pay attention to safety (although I see that there are many foreign girls who come to play and live), and it is not very convenient to take a bath and go to the toilet. Cheap is cheap, but I wouldn't recommend radishes and vegetables. Everyone has their own preferences.

It's a walking distance from Montparnasse so it was easy to take TGV. It's near the subway and a bus to downtown is close. You can go to important tourist attractions easily here. 몽파르나스역에서 가깝고 주요 관광지에 가기도 좋습니다. 좁은 파리 아파트를 생각하게 합니다. 조식은 근처 빵집 쿠폰으로 주는데 크루와상 하나에 커피 한잔입니다. 조식이 베드에 포함되어 있는데 아침에 갔더니 자기네는 식당 없다고 나가서 먹으라고 하더라고요. 조식 포함되었다고 얘기해도 자긴 모른다는 식으로 하길래 해당 빵집에 가봤더니 숙소에서 쿠폰을 받아와야 한다고 하더라구요. 다시 가서 쿠폰이 필요하다고 하니까 자긴 모른다는 식으로 나오다 갑자기 쿠폰 찍어주면서 갖고 가라고 하는 겁니다. 분명 내 돈 내고 당연히 받아야 할 것인데 마치 귀찮게 하니까 준다는 식이어서 몹시 불쾌해졌습니다. 게다가 다음 날은 떼제베 타야해서 일찍 체크아웃 해야해서 돈은 냈지만 아침을 못 먹게 되니까 쿠폰 미리 찍어주면 오늘 받겠다고 했더니 내일 건 내일만 받아야한다고 그전에 나가면 끝이라고 하는데 태도가 너무나도 사무적이고 무뚝뚝해서 다시 이용하고 싶지는 않습니다.
