The bathroom is really small but everything is clean. If you are tall and big, you might have trouble with taking shower;) The bed is a very standard single bed, quite soft but a bit small for tall people to be honest. The location is really nice, feel very safe. There are many local bakeries around as well. Free luggage storage. Overall satisfied.
The room was very small. I could hear the people next to me until late at night, which was annoying.
The good points are that it's close to the station, close to famous tourist spots, and the people at the hotel are friendly and very kind.
Breakfast is highly recommended.
I think it was good for the price.

Lovely location of the hotel close to Gard de Nord and Montmarte and the moulin rouge. Adjacent to a Metro station, and walking distance to other more mainline stations. I rented bicycles from outside which were always available on apps and were a great way to get around Paris easily.
Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants on the street some very next door Late night supermarket just a few streets away.
Staff friendly and polite on check in and check out.
Room was on high floor, nice traditional property and decent comfy bed and ok amenities.
Room was not cleaned the greatest and was quite dusty and pipes were quite noisy through the night however for the excellent value for money and location. This was the only drawback for me and it wasn’t enough for me to warrant escalating to manager or demanding
Would stay again definitely - if you’re after luxury this is not for you, however a well priced, safe hotel in a great location - book it!
The biggest worry, the bathroom is too slippery; The sheets are not changed for one week; the towels are tasteful; Overall, it is relatively clean. The location is not bad, it is convenient to go out. Service attitude, neutral, no comment
Overall, I am very satisfied. Although there is no Chinese service, the front desk staff is very good and enthusiastic. The location is very good! I can walk to Galeries Lafayette and Faubourg's commercial street. If I visit next time, I will still choose this place first.
The hotel is as described, located near a lot of restaurants and bars. Pros: comfy bed, mini fridge, good location, nice staff. Cons: the room is tiny, nowhere to put your stuff in the shower, pretty noisy at night as there’re a lot of bars that go on and on the whole night, and in the morning there’s some construction work. Overall we enjoyed our stay there.
Plus:
Location location location.
You could pretty much walk everywhere n anywhere
Heating available in room
Minus:
Expensive for a small single room like that
Shower curtain has mould, and smell of damp cloth
Some room for improvement with air circulation, and humidity. After taking shower, the room feel very densed and humid. And the humidity is all trapped in the bed / quilt. Uncomfortable to sleep in.
The lift. It is old and classic. One would have to open the door when it arrives. You either love it or hate it.
I think I was somewhat misled by the picture on profile of the twin room and room with balcony before making booking. See photos attached for actual view for single room.
No room for negotiation for late check out even if I am willing to pay ( or I didn't get to expressed I am willing to pay. Check out time is 12, and my flight was 9.35pm. to be fair And provide the complete picture, the service desk did offer luggage storage option)
The front door is relatively narrow you could easily walk pass and miss it.
All in it is a simple but very old hotel with great location. You either love it or hate it.
The hotel is wonderfully located with a 4 minute walk to thr moulin rouge. Not only that it's located in a very busy parisian suburb, some comments complain about the noise below but that's the sound of the lively bustling Paris one should enjoy while on holiday.
There are countless cafes nearby, underneath and all around that serve a variety of food.
The room was tiny, if I was a solo guest it'd be satisfactory , but as I was sharing the room, it got a bit cramped. This was not too much of a problem and could be adjusted with perhaps a different room booked on my part.
The bed was comfy, shower worked, although the bathroom was exceptionally small( it's one of those plastic bathrooms common in apartment to hotel conversions around Europe )
The breakfast online stated a continental breakfast, that'd be true if the continent in question was themed after a parisian bakery then that'd be accurate , because the breakfast only consisted of coffee or tea, juice, baguette , croissant and some cereals. Nothing more. While limited in options it was satisfactory and not a bad bread selection.
The service was good and the atmosphere was friendly . Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again !
The room should be very big in Paris. I am a family room. On the top floor, the room is a bit small. You can see the Sacred Heart Cathedral and the view is good. The bathroom between the child's sleeping area and the adult is separated, and each other is private. The elevator is small, but Paris is like this. The front desk was very welcoming and friendly to the Chinese. The room was given a capsule coffee, which tasted good and had to drink every day before running.
The location is very good, there are two subway stations to choose from, the blue buns downstairs, did not eat, but there are still waiting places, can be used as a landmark to determine the location of the hotel. There is a Carrefour nearby, things are cheap, you can buy breakfast. Less than 1000m from Paris Spring, Galeries Lafayette, Moulin Rouge...
There is a kettle in the room! This is rare. Of course, slippers and toothpaste toothbrushes should be brought by yourself.

Amazing
DDr_GizmoThis hotel is an absolute gem in the neighborhood! 💎
Our stay was simply wonderful. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between charm, comfort, and impeccable service. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed — the staff is warm and attentive, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed.
The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of everything, yet peaceful and relaxing once you step inside.
Truly a hidden treasure — we can’t wait to return!
GGuest UserThe location is good. There is a watch shop opposite the hotel entrance. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to Printemps, Galeries Lafayette and the Louvre. There is a Walmart City supermarket to the west. There is a Hunan restaurant across the road to the south where I had two meals. The first intersection to the east is the Opera Metro Station. There is also a Sichuan restaurant with good food. The hotel breakfast includes shrimp dumplings, rice and miso soup. The staff is very friendly.
GGuest UserIt’s a new Boutique Hotel with very stylish deco, Clean !! The staffs are very polite and helpful !!! I can say you feel safe when you staying in this hotel.
Central location, within 1 mins walk to Metro -Notre-Dame-de-Lorette - which offers direct transport to Saint-Lazare Train Station.
It takes you 20 mins to Gare du Nord from hotel !!
If you love shopping, the famous Shopping mall Lafayette and Printemp, it takes you 15 mins by walk from the Hotel Bloum. Very convenient and central in Paris ‘
I was staying for 6 days, the breakfast is very simple, without eggs and omelette, coffee is very simple too . Need to improve for the whole breakfast honestly !!!
I will stay again if I come back to Paris again !!!!
KKimluFirst of all, the location is very good, opposite the opera house, and near the Galeries Lafayette. The restaurant in the hotel is very convenient and delicious, but I don't know where to eat, so the restaurant downstairs is the most convenient. The interior of the hotel is relatively classically decorated, and the bathroom should have a certain time limit. You have to climb into the bathtub to take a shower, and the toilet is not smart. The gym is small and beautiful, and there are functional drinks. Overall, the hotel service is still very good. It is suitable for tourism and business in Paris.
GGuest UserVery good, very good, I will come again next time.
Facilities: Complete, very clean, the environment is very good, and the service is also very good. I can recommend friends to come next time. A different experience.
LLydee MaeWe had an amazing stay at Maxim Opera Hotel. The staff was so accommodating and the room had everything we needed for the 3 days we were there. Would definitely book there again when going to Paris!!
XXixibukuzaoService: Super nice, very warm and friendly
Hygienic: very clean, well-equipped, the room is a bit small
Facilities: The family room booked is very convenient and quiet
Breakfast is not good...
GGuest UserStayed in a quad room with our two teenagers. Superb view of Sacre Coeur from our compact room with comfy beds. clean and quiet, Just what was needed after long days sight seeing.
Metro station just outside
The receptionist's we're all very helpful and friendly. Luggage was left securely on our first and last days without any issues.
Walking distance to Montmartre and about 30 mins metro to all the main sites. Very convenient. Would recommend!
ZZHIYELocated in the 9th district of Paris, in the business district, the public order is very good. Don't worry. It is a 10-minute walk from Galeries Lafayette. There are many restaurants nearby, and there are Chinese and Western restaurants. The choice is very wide.
