Location is nice: metro station is 2min away! But hotel located in small alley where homeless ”sleep” there, feel not safe at night....Staff did their work but no more or not very friendly. No air-con, hairdryer available on request only at front desk. Thin wall: very noisy. Main complain: the bathroom is too small, can't seat on toilet, shower curtain little old/dirty, vent doesn't work. Not a lot of electrical plug available.
Accommodation in Paris is high even during non-peak travelling season. So if you are a budget traveler, but still hope to stay in a decent hotel, this hotel is very suitable to you!
They have a cozy lounge space, nice breakfast area and most importantly an elevator! Even it is rated 3 stars only by the Offical French Hotel Star Rating System, it has everything you need for your stay and their staff are friendly and helpful.
The room comes with both air conditioning and heater. Hand wash gel, body wash and shampoo are provided. A small safe inside room and luggage storage at reception are provided as well. It also welcomes you with a bottle of water.
The most valued point for this hotel is its great location. It is very close to Lafayette, Montmartre and Gare de Nord, all are walkable distance with many nice restaurants! There are also a few metro stations nearby. So you can go everywhere very conveniently and time saving!
Will surely recommend this hotel to my friends!
Stayed two nights. It was total disaster. Elevator was not working. Had to walk tiny stairs every time. No bottled water offered, just a glass bottle water hotel filled. Reception was a mess too. Charged different amount everytime. Incidentials, city tax, every person in reception says differently. I had to ask a partial refund for wrongfully charged city tax. Location is great, but I cannot recommend this hotel.

I had a great time in this hotel during Paris 2024 Olympics. The receptionist Bibel is exceptionally professional, kind and helpful, he reminded me the Marathon Street arrangement before I started my visit, and telling me where to buy the souvenirs. He also upgraded my room because it was my birthday =)
The room itself is very clean, tidy, spacious, the viewing is good, with air-conditioning during the hottest summer time!
A good hotel to stay for 4-5 days. Restaurants, shops, laundry are within walking distance. The breakfast is monotonous, but everything is very tasty, donuts with chocolate are just incredible 🤤🤤
The area is good, without suspicious people.
The stay was great, thank you for everything!!!
Adequate hotel for its money. Excellent location, between two metro stations, less than 5 minutes walk to each. The room is small, but clean, for 2 nights it is enough. But the view from the window was amazing, right on Montmartre, as if in the palm of your hand. The room was on the top 5th floor.
The room is very clean, one bedroom and one living room, very spacious, and you can cook by yourself. There is a refrigerator and dishwasher. It is 1.3 km from Galeries Lafayette and 800 meters from Gare de l'Est. It is very convenient to travel. There is Metro Line 7 and Bus No. 39 and No. 69 at the door. You can take Bus No. 39 directly to the Louvre and Bus No. 69 directly to the Eiffel Tower. It is very convenient to go everywhere. It is the best hotel I have stayed in in Europe. If I come to Paris in the future, I will choose here again.
The French chain hotel Astoria I stayed at was personally better than Ibis. The price was about 800 including double breakfast, but it was worth 100 yuan in Paris to send 6 bottles of water and drinks every day, and the room was clean and tidy. This Astoria is within walking distance of the Galeries Lafayette Louvre, the accommodation is safe, and the surrounding subway is also convenient. The airport bus to the airport is just a few minutes away. The price/performance ratio is also super high. It is highly recommended !
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Grand Hotel de Normandie, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's location is superb, situated conveniently close to major attractions and public transportation, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
The rooms were impressively quiet, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city streets. This tranquility was a significant highlight, allowing for restful nights and a relaxing stay. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a warm smile and excellent service.
However, one area where the hotel could improve is its facilities. While functional, they felt quite dated and could benefit from some modernization. Despite this, the overall experience remained positive due to the comfortable rooms, prime location, and the hospitality of the staff.
In conclusion, Le Grand Hotel de Normandie offers a good stay with quiet, comfortable rooms and a great location, bolstered by the friendly and attentive staff. With a bit of updating to the facilities, it could truly shine as a top-notch hotel.

Amazing
LLaus12Harmony and Hospitality. The hotel is perfect for visiting Paris in maximum comfort. The hotel is in a prime location close to the city center and also for its lively nightlife. The welcome is amazing, and both day and night, the staff is extremely professional and well-trained in providing truly high-quality tourist hospitality. Everyone is also friendly and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The hotel is new and the room very clean. Every detail is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The spa is also recommended. Breakfast is also recommended! An excellent experience!
GGuest UserThe location is good. There is a watch shop opposite the hotel entrance. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to Printemps, Galeries Lafayette and the Louvre. There is a Walmart City supermarket to the west. There is a Hunan restaurant across the road to the south where I had two meals. The first intersection to the east is the Opera Metro Station. There is also a Sichuan restaurant with good food. The hotel breakfast includes shrimp dumplings, rice and miso soup. The staff is very friendly.
GGuest UserVery good, very good, I will come again next time.
Facilities: Complete, very clean, the environment is very good, and the service is also very good. I can recommend friends to come next time. A different experience.
KKimluFirst of all, the location is very good, opposite the opera house, and near the Galeries Lafayette. The restaurant in the hotel is very convenient and delicious, but I don't know where to eat, so the restaurant downstairs is the most convenient. The interior of the hotel is relatively classically decorated, and the bathroom should have a certain time limit. You have to climb into the bathtub to take a shower, and the toilet is not smart. The gym is small and beautiful, and there are functional drinks. Overall, the hotel service is still very good. It is suitable for tourism and business in Paris.
LLydee MaeWe had an amazing stay at Maxim Opera Hotel. The staff was so accommodating and the room had everything we needed for the 3 days we were there. Would definitely book there again when going to Paris!!
XXixibukuzaoService: Super nice, very warm and friendly
Hygienic: very clean, well-equipped, the room is a bit small
Facilities: The family room booked is very convenient and quiet
Breakfast is not good...
MMarmarisThe hotel is not big but cozy. The rooms require updating but perhaps after renovation the price will be lower and much higher. The price included breakfast, we ate well. Located next to the metro, the center where all the attractions are a 30 minute walk, the area is safe and there is a supermarket nearby. Great staff, everyone was nice. There is a place to leave luggage and also an elevator.
GGuest UserStayed in a quad room with our two teenagers. Superb view of Sacre Coeur from our compact room with comfy beds. clean and quiet, Just what was needed after long days sight seeing.
Metro station just outside
The receptionist's we're all very helpful and friendly. Luggage was left securely on our first and last days without any issues.
Walking distance to Montmartre and about 30 mins metro to all the main sites. Very convenient. Would recommend!
TTravelfreeThe hotel is wonderfully located with a 4 minute walk to thr moulin rouge. Not only that it's located in a very busy parisian suburb, some comments complain about the noise below but that's the sound of the lively bustling Paris one should enjoy while on holiday.
There are countless cafes nearby, underneath and all around that serve a variety of food.
The room was tiny, if I was a solo guest it'd be satisfactory , but as I was sharing the room, it got a bit cramped. This was not too much of a problem and could be adjusted with perhaps a different room booked on my part.
The bed was comfy, shower worked, although the bathroom was exceptionally small( it's one of those plastic bathrooms common in apartment to hotel conversions around Europe )
The breakfast online stated a continental breakfast, that'd be true if the continent in question was themed after a parisian bakery then that'd be accurate , because the breakfast only consisted of coffee or tea, juice, baguette , croissant and some cereals. Nothing more. While limited in options it was satisfactory and not a bad bread selection.
The service was good and the atmosphere was friendly . Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again !
ZZHIYELocated in the 9th district of Paris, in the business district, the public order is very good. Don't worry. It is a 10-minute walk from Galeries Lafayette. There are many restaurants nearby, and there are Chinese and Western restaurants. The choice is very wide.
