Hotel Elixir is in the ideal location for seeing all of Paris. A quick walk across the Seine River to the latin quarter, a quick walk up to Les Halles, and one block from Rue Rivoli where there is much shopping. The Chatelet Metro stop is a few feet from the hotel, which has connections to all of Paris for expanded sightseeing, and Les Halles RER train station is a very short walk to get to/from CDG Airport. It really is an exceptional location. You can pay more for a hotel, and not have this location!!! The staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly in both English and French. The room was modern, and while small, it was very a very reasonable size for Paris. We would highly recommend Hotel Elixir and will definitely return there ourselves on our future trips.

The most central location in Paris, the price is fair. Although the room is really small, it is not suitable for 2 people. The voices in the corridor can be heard clearly, but it is not noisy outside. The front desk girl was aloof when checking in, but when leaving, a middle-aged uncle was very nice. In short, if you have a limited budget, you can choose it!

The room smelled of sewage and dampness, but the staff was very helpful in booking tickets to museums and tables in restaurants.

The good thing about this property is its location. The room for 4 is big but very old and in need of a refurbishment. The worst part for me was the bathroom. There was a persistent disgusting smell and the window could not be opened. We found hair in the sink and the flush would get stuck most of the time.

First, the staff were all friendly and very accommodating. I’d like to believe that if there was another room available that we could have moved and solved a lot of issues. But we know that every hotel in the area was sold out- with it being pre-Easter week. That said, our family room was less than ideal and barely acceptable. The smell in the bathroom- coming from the drain- was so horrid that we almost couldn’t stand it. It went away when you ran the shower water so we did that a lot. That left the room very humid because Paris didn’t allow hotels to run the AC yet. We were on the first floor so we heard every.. single.. person enter the elevator, talking and laughing into all hours of the night. The beds were comfortable and the bunk bed was great for the kids. When we checked in, there was no light in the shower so we thought it was just meant to be dark. If not for the staff letting us check out late, I would have given this 2 stars. Again, they were very friendly but the smell in the shower was horrible.

The hotel is at great location, right next to Louvre and all major city attractions. Laurent (hotel manager) is a super host but Victoria is forgettable (seemed as if she had better work to do than be welcoming and smiling for guests and attend to them). The family room for 4 was on the ground floor, spacious and clean.

Great location, staff was really friendly to us and helped us in any way they could and gave us advice and pointers as to where to go next. Nice hotel and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the only thing I would "complain" has nothing to do with the hotel, but because Paris is such a big city it can get noisy at night from party people at 3-4 in the morning shouting yo ambulance/police sirens. But that has nothing to do with the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel

When going into the room, someone had set the in-room temperature at 28C. In the bathroom it was cold. I prefer it the other way around. During the late evening and through the night, I was constantly bothered by noise from the outside. Since the hotel is in the middle of the city, it was expected that there would be sounds on the outside. But the reason for the sounds bothering, is that the windows have extremely little sound proofing. Particularly for a hotel downtown. The windows not keeping sound, or cold from coming in, is also the reason for the cold bathroom. To add to the discomfort, the bed was hard. Never coming back.

I was skeptical about this hotel, but glad I booked here. We are a family of four, including two kids and got room 105 which had two rooms! Spacious with ample closet space and enough privacy for all. The hotel staff is very pleasant and accommodating, great dining options steps away. Can walk to louvre, notre dam and others. They give you robes, daily housekeeping , coffee and breakfast although we couldn’t comment on it since we never used the breakfast option. Would stay here again and recommend to others! Thanks Elixir Hotel!

The staff member greeting us was wonderful. She was kind, helpful, and made our check in process so smooth. We had 2 beautiful rooms that were kept very clean and they were able to accommodate our family staying right next to each other. They made our Christmas in Paris vary beautiful.
