Not bad, just a little old, but very convenient, very Parisian, very convenient for travel

The hotel charged us a lot for the minibar. In addition, because the room arrangement was not appropriate, they said they would give us an additional discount, but it seems that they did not receive the information. Our email is *************** ******** Hope to get a reply as soon as possible! Otherwise, I feel really uncomfortable because we were charged more than 10% of the room rate even though we didn't use any products at all! Feeling really not good☹️

The location is great, right next to the Presidential Palace. The area is closed whenever the President has a state event. Vehicles cannot enter or exit normally. 😅

Quiet, clean, good service, very good experience!

I have been fortunate enough to have stayed at a lot of amazing large luxury hotels. However Hotel Splendide Royal is in it's own special category of excellence. It's a tiny hotel, only 12 rooms - 6 suites and 6 Jr. suites. But it is beautiful, warm, and surpringly roomy. The reception area is small and unadorned, but the people, the welcome, is the best you'll get anywhere. And attached to the little reception area is a large library/sitting room so you have a comfortable space to enjoy. Our room was a suite with a balcony and - take my breath away - stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. WOW!! Anyway, the room had a separate bedroom, coffee/tea bar and a mini fridge, a soft couch and comfortable chairs, a desk, and 1.5 bathrooms. The large bathroom (separate bath tub and shower) had a separate sitting area that's perfect for doing your make up and getting dressed. It was all so lovely and elegant decorated in calm and muted tones. Every morning and at night we sat on the balcony and either enjoyed a cup of coffee or stared at the Eiffel Tower. Now, about the breakfast, a definite yes and A+! The breakfast area (entrance is in the reception area) is large with soft padded seats and lots of big windows. I was surprised by it's size and yet it felt all warm and cozy. The food was delicious!! And, as was true with all the staff, the service was impeccable and everyone so very nice and personable. I laughed when after stuffing myself on eggs, bacon and a variety of fruits and bread, I was offered my choice of chocolate or white loaf cake. I declined both but still loved having that option. The location is good as it's close to transit stations and an easy walk to sights. It's also close to the President's palace so it's in a very safe area.

My family and I occupied Rooms 201, 202, & 501 for 10 days. I personally felt like I was in heaven. All of us loved the Staff, the food, the cleanliness, the Decor, the neighborhood of our hotel. There was some construction like everywhere in Paris in anticipation of the 2024 Olympics, but the soundproofing of the windows was amazing as shown when opened. We were all sad to depart. I know I am ready to return. Marie in particular noted my sadness; she was so kind to give me her phone number so I could message or call for updates on Paris. This was my first trip and I loved it! Great Hotel!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Splendide Royal! It is a boutique hotel with 12 suites. The room was very well appointed and large for Paris hotel. The location in the 8th arr. couldn’t have been better. it is in a terrific area and the French President’s residence (Elysee Palace) is on the next block. There are so many fabulous restaurants within walking distance and, in fact, the Tosca restaurant is in the hotel. Staff was superb. You have the choice of breakfast in your room or in the Tosca restaurant. We opted for in room dining each morning. The hotel used to be the residence of Pierre Cardin. Very classic in style! Highly recommend!

We haven't stayed in the hotel, but we had a wonderful dinner in the Ristorante Tosca. ( by the way, I failed to find it in the TripAdvisor as an independent listing). Very tasty food and very well presented. We still remember how amusing were the amuse bouche, how tasty wwere the anatra and the sogliola. Whatever we were served have been a delight. The staff were very friendly polite and efficient. Thak you Feliche, and bravo to all of the staff.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Our suite was very comfortable, the restaurant was very good and the staff and service exceptional. It was true value for money. We would certainly go back if we stay in Paris again. Very conveniently located within walking distance of all the major attractions.

Our three night stay at the Splendide Royal was flawless! From the intimate lobby to the warm welcome we received upon arrival, we were treated like royalty by every staff member we encountered. Our suite was elegantly furnished and beautifully appointed. As two women, in an unfamiliar city, we felt secure, comfortable and respected. The entire staff was friendly and responsive and could not do enough to make our stay PERFECT. The Splendide Royale Is the epitome of what a boutique hotel should be - a home awayfrom home. The Splendide Royal is a hidden gem in Paris. It's not a large, splashy hotel. In fact there is almost no lobby to speak of and the restaurant connected to the lobby is the food service. It's almost hidden away vs the big hotels of Paris. But that ended up making it absolutely perfect for traveling with our two teen daughters. We reserved the "family suite" (which is a large 1 bedroom suite connected to another room) and the result was we had a VERY large, full-floor luxury "apartment" to ourselves. Of course it was an apartment with full housekeeping service and 24-hour lobby, etc, but it felt like a private home. The street was quiet and lovely and still very centrally-located, and coming home felt like coming back to our own luxury home in Paris. We had a nice French breakfast every morning in the connected restaurant, and the hotel ended up being the perfect base for walking around and exploring Paris. If we were in the mood for a bigger, splashier hotel this wouldn't be the choice. But for traveling as a family it was absolutely perfect, felt like living in luxury in a big Paris apartment, and was a great family-friendly 5-star experience. Highly recommended

Excellent choice. Great location. Close to the Elysee Palace and the street might be blocked off to vehicles for security, we found. It's just a block from where a taxi can drop you off though. We had a very nice large suite and staff was so friendly. Attached restaurant, Toscana, was wonderful, especially the breakfasts.

We stayed for 7 nights at this wonderful hotel to celebrate my 50th. We could not have asked for a better hotel. We stayed in room 302 which was gorgeous. All of the staff were exceptional and so helpful and friendly. The location for us, as guests who love to walk was great. We could get to most of the sights within 30 minutes. If you are thinking of staying here, don’t hesitate!!

Very comfortable, spacious and quiet room in a great location. Staff were all very willing and helpful. Breakfast was good but the service a little chaotic. Food in the restaurant when it was open was very good.
