Arrived at site after 8pm, due to Crit Air restrictions. Staff spoke good english, went off to pitch to given pitch, boggy and narrow between two trees, back to reception, 2nd pitch also boggy, back again, now it was dark! 3rd pitch muddy but ok at the back, site quiet. Last day, on bus back from Paris, site called, we think you should move your van the waters rising, got back, managed to get van out, but no other pitches available, so had to hang about till 8pm (Crit Air again) hang to leave and find somewhere else for night. A refund was issued for the last night, the staff were very helpful, but they should really know whats happening on the pitches, don't think we would use again.

Good base to explore Paris. More information on options would be helpful ie cycling and safe walking routes. Shuttle bus runs every half hour, but not in the evening, 2e pp. Was a bit scary walking back to the campsite as google walked us back through, some shady areas, dark parklands, and where we saw ‘lady’s of the night’ touting for business, not what we expected to see at 8pm on a Thursday evening! Checking in process needs looking at, we were given a pitch that already had someone on, then reception did not answer the phone so I had to walk back to reception and queue all over again to sort out receptions error. No apology was given. This is really not good enough when welcoming tired travellers! Site undergoing renovation work, which we understand has to happen. But I would suggest building vehicles and site maintenance keep to a minimum speed to help avoid dust and then mud flying everywhere! The site is noisy, with both traffic noise and inconsiderate people. Quite a few loud excited young people running about. The worst issue for me was the shared bathroom facilities. Firstly it’s a safeguarding issue! And secondly I do not want to share facilities!

We arrived exhausted, after taking an extra loop, because of false direction signs. With a smile, we were send off for another 10 Minutes walk, with our heavy luggage, no hand cart available. The spot for our tent was rock hard,. We just could fit in 8 hooks, with the help of a neighbour. Noisy street most time of the night, late car at 0:30 a.m driving by. A person washing dishes at night. At 8 a.m another neighbour was sanding his boat nearby in the Seine. The gardnener was driving his car over our spot and doing maintenance in the morning.... Only the bus service organized from the camp side itself the next morning directly to the metro was okay.

Citykamp is a nice place to stay They do a good job with keeping the place clean. We stayed in a cabin that could sleep 6 people. We had 3 adults and it was good. You could have got a 4th in no problem. The only drawback of the whole stay was there lack of wifi. If you need it to work while your staying there just don't count on it. I stayed 2 weeks before and had no internet so I asked to be moved for my next stay and still there was very little internet. Even at reception and the restaurant it wouldn't work. Everything else was good

Don’t take a tent, ground is completely unsuitable. Don’t expect a quiet nights sleep, like living next to a motorway. Don’t expect staff to help if €10,000 worth of e-bikes and carrier are stolen. Don’t expect them to check CCTV after a theft, said the cameras don’t cover entry and exit of vehicles, which is a lie. Same entry/exit barrier code for all residents which makes it less safe than other sites. Small selection on the food menu. Toilet/shower facilities were good, currently being improved. Handy location if you walk in to the centre, wouldn’t use the shuttle, overcrowded and unsafe. Sign on the bus state how many people should be on, that was ignored and people were stuffed on. Requested a refund for our stay and put all our complaints to Citykamp / Huttopia days ago, still haven’t heard back. Generally a poor experience.

Positives: new reception/bar/shop/staff/location Negatives: Rats!!!! Dirty accommodation - tent lodge, accommodation falling apart, dangerous holes, unsecure tents. We travelled as a group, cycling from UK to Paris for the rugby world cup. When we arrived we went straight to the accommodation (tent lodge by the river) to shower, change, grab some food at the bar and go to sleep......thats when the problems started. Rats in the tent at night, holes eaten through bags, clothing, wires, food taken and a mess made. Started to look around and found dead rats around the back of the tents, rat pooh all over the tent and the stink of rat urine was very noticeable. We did mean to complain more but we had to get into Paris for the match and when we mentioned it, the staff said "we know" and shrugged. Luckily, we realised in the morning, what the big metal boxes in the lodge were for - to put everything in to protect from the rats. However when we got back later in the evening, the smell of rat urine from underneath the beds made sleep near impossible. We were terrified we may contact Weil's disease. Rat pooh was everywhere in the tent so it clearly wasn't cleaned before we went in, so we did not do any additional cleaning when left, we couldn't wait to leave!!! The substructure of the lodge is very damaged, all the floors move and lift when you move around, there were open holes in the floor that could have resulted in a nasty injury - outrageous that it was thought to be acceptable accommodation!!! The tent security is woeful - a central padlock on a tent that has 2 zips on either side, I'm not sure what they are thinking. It was a horrible experience, we couldn't wait to leave! Shower block and toilets were gross - not clean, visible dirt, skid marks on the toilet etc. Friends stayed in a cabin and they were new, smart and clean. That was a positive. The food in the restaurant was good quality, drinks price etc reasonable. Small shop. If you're desperate for a good location in Paris, then it'll do but don't stay in the lodge tents, stay in the static units or in a campervan - but even then, be wary of your wiring being eaten through! Visited in October Rooms: 1/5 | Service: 3/5 | Location: 4/5 Rooms Hotel highlights Quiet Rooms: Tents are disgusting - rat urine, rat pooh, damaged structures, not safe, accident waiting to happen, not secure! Noteworthy details Rats, unsecure, dirty, not safe

Perfect location for exploring Paris, shuttle bus to the main attractions. Site has nice and clean facilities. Staff speaks English, very helpful and polite. Small pitches for touring caravans a bit crowded.

We went 4 years ago and had a really good time so we booked again to go this summer. Unfortunately, the site appears to have been really neglected and seems to have completely forgotten tent users in favour of the glamping chalets. The website makes a number of claims including the following: "At the end of the day, come back to the green setting of the campsite, on the banks of the Seine and enjoy the many high-quality, modern facilities: a bright and modern central lodge opening out onto a lovely terrace, a new playground, and fully-renovated washrooms. Camp with your tent, caravan or motorhome on a beautiful, flat pitch" The site resembled a building site and the pitches looked tired and neglected. The areas around the restaurant were bare dirt so certainly not the green setting we remembered. There used to be a nice play area for the kids but this has been removed and was behind a large fence. The washrooms were dirty and certainly hadn't been renovated since we were last there in 2019. Many of the cubicles had missing seats and some of the mixer valves in the showers were broken so the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. And the smell..... Finally, the photo doesn't really capture the slope of the pitch but it was nowhere near flat and was situated by a manhole cover and some sort of water pipe thing. Also, the ground was totally unsuitable for a tent as the ground was rock solid. I bent three of my heavy-duty ock pegs and eventually ended up with only 8 pegs securing a 6 person tent. This is a real shame as it was really lovely when we went before but it appears to have gone full speed ahead for the glamping chalet market and forgotten that there are families out there that still use tents. This was a massive shame as we loved it there, but will not be going back.

Terrible for backpacking/cycle touring. Campsite is geared towards car camping and increasing number of cabins built on site. A tiny sloped area for those camping with no vehicle. A short (<10 min ) walk over the river takes you to Suresnes with decent supermarkets, winding streets and good public transport links.
