The hotel is in a good location! Breakfast is simple and of good quality! It's just that this is the first time I've encountered such poor hygiene. When I took off the quilt to go to bed on the first night, I found blood stains on the quilt. Because it was very late, I didn't call to change it, so I could only sleep with the quilt turned upside down, but it stayed there all night. I didn't even sleep well. So disgusting! The next day, I went to the front desk to inform the hotel that there were blood stains and requested that all the bedding be cleaned and replaced. However, when we returned to the hotel, we found that only the quilt had been changed, but the sheets had not been changed, and toilet paper had not been added. I am really disappointed with the sanitary conditions of a 4-star hotel!

The location is good, the area is small and the old apartment is small, but the toilet and bathroom are separated in the room, but there is no wash basin installed, which is a disadvantage

This is a hidden gem. Generous sized rooms (for Paris). Perfect location for Paris shops and tourist attractions. Not really a hotel - limited facilities - but very clean, friendly staff and far more cost effective than nearby hotels. This was my 2nd visit and it won’t be my last

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to all the main sites. Rooms are on the small side, but quite clean. Bathroom was clean, but the bath tub/shower is quite high, so if you had knee issues or mobility issues, it may be a bit of a struggle. Breakfast each morning was great, served quickly. Had an issue with a leak in the bathroom, but was rectified quickly and efficiently. Bed was comfortable and allowed a good nights sleep. Overall a nice stay and would happily stay here again.

We only stayed one night. One issue was the noise. In the middle of the night, we heard banging and drilling (or was it moving furniture?) above our room. When we told the front desk in the morning, the person said that the neighbors across the street do work at night. But our room was not facing the street, instead it was at the back of the hotel. Otherwise, it is nice to have a double door between the room and the hallway to limit noise from the hallway. Our deluxe room was spacious, the rain shower was great with good products (clarins). The bed was king size and very confortable with a selection of hard and soft pillows. The hotel is also environmentally minded (avoiding plastic and using recyclable pods).

The third time I have stayed in this delightful hotel (being a small boutique hotel it is necessary to book well in advance and I was very fortunate this time to get a booking) As in my previous stays the room was most comfortable and the staff first rate (especially Michael) - welcoming and most efficient, very happy to do all they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is superb - ideal for me as I was there to attend an exhibition at the Louvre. I arrived by Eurostar in to the Gare du Nord and rather than queue for a taxi it is so easy to catch a No.45 bus directly outside the station and alight at the Capucines Caumartin bus stop and it is just a few minutes walk to the hotel. I look forward to my next stay at the Hotel Stendhal!

Many times in Paris and just bthe first time we stayed at this Hotel. It was a wonderful expereience and could not be a better place to enjoy Paris. The location is superb, just ba few steps form the magnificent Place Vendome and the Opera Garnier. The service was exceptional and the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. we hope to come back to this hotel during our next stays in Paris!

The rooms were well decorated. Super comfortable bed with soft linens. Selection of pillow types was nice. Great for a stay in Paris. Location conveniently located near opera and vendome area. Some trendy bakeries nearby. Personal notes in the room were nice with a little welcome gift. Only downside was the tub was very high and hard for my handicap father to use.
