A very romantic hotel, a complete tribute to Proust's Belle Époque, with all kinds of interesting and lovely details, the almond flavor that Proust liked, the shower gel that is reproduced in the hotel, and the special cocktails that pay tribute to Proust, a warm and luxurious little universe, no need to elaborate, just arrive here and open your senses to enjoy. The entire hotel team is extremely enthusiastic and sincere, and can be said to be considerate. The hotel is located in the Marais area, which is good for shopping, eating and shopping, and it is not touristy. It is a real Parisian life experience. The only thing to be reminded is that the room is slightly small like all Paris hotels. But the hotel facilities are very new.

We discovered Maison Proust soon after it opened about three years ago by way of their bartender, the legendary Colin Field. We had been staying at The Ritz and was always charmed by him and his wizardry behind the bar. This week was our first opportunity to stay on the property. I can’t think of a more flawless hotel experience in Paris after twenty years of visiting one of our favorite cities. We received a warm greeting by the gracious Laurine. She took exceptional care of us; giving a proper tour of the property and indulged all of our questions regarding the design and construction. No expense was spared on this hotel. The interiors are impeccably designed with the most gorgeous upholstery, leather paneled walls, and museum-worthy art collection. Our room was spacious by Paris standards and the spa and private pool are a secret paradise in the basement. I’d encourage anyone looking for a quaint, romantic, and well situated hotel in Paris to consider Maison Proust.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Proust in June 2025. We stayed for 4 nights and the staff were amazing at every step. They really went above and beyond to make the hotel feel like a home away from home. They were very knowledgeable, they treated us like old friends, they guided us to the best places to eat and they even went above and beyond when we needed extra help to fix a situation. I would stay at Maison Proust again without even considering other options. One last important detail: the hotel location is perfect for walking around and as a central place to explore Paris. Highly recommend.

From the moment we entered the doors of this magical hotel we were greeted by beautiful Stephanie who introduced us the the story of Maison Proust. From there every staff member we met ensured we had a wonderful stay. From advice on the sights to see and restaurant tips. Beautiful hotel, so much attention to detail to evoke la belle epoch. Charming staff and fantastic cocktails Absolutely love the Maras. Our room was perfect - so quiet and comfortable, perfect mattress and linen - perfect nights sleep followed by an early morning trip to the spa

Maison Proust has a remarkably special "vibe" to it, for lack of a better word. Walking through the doors feels like stepping into another century (though with nicer amenities), from the warm hosts to the lush interiors and a personal hammam, it makes for an excellent escape in one of the better neighborhoods in Paris. Recommend it very highly.

Very private and cozy hotel with beautifully designed rooms near the Les Enfants Rouges market. The front desk staff was very professional, attentive and helpful. It's not necessarily a great value for the money, but it's a wonderful and charming hotel nonetheless.

Maison Proust is a fantastic, quiet hotel in a vibrant neighborhood of Paris. I took my wife there for her 50th birthday and it was perfect. The staff helped me plan surprises, spa times, reservations, and outings. They went above and beyond to make our time there memorable and easy. There were two special things that I would suggest to folks who plan on staying here. first, on Friday evenings they have a world famous bartender serve drinks in the bar downstairs. Also, the hammam in the basement is an amazing luxury to have in such an historic building. 5 stars to Maison Proust!
